Oops indeed. I never got the "no idols" thing. Why not? God could be decorated symbolically like we do. It's actually pretty tight. And the idols are sanctified because they have gold and jewels buried underneath. It's part of the big hate between Hindus and Muslims; when Muslim raiders came to India and realized that there were riches beneath the "pagan" idols, they ransacked temples and destroyed the icons to get to them. *shrug* I'm sure we've demolished a mosque or two, so I'm not really saying anything that's really new.
