I truly believe that, as a woman, it is MY responsibility to contend with what goes on with my body, not my partner...It's my uterus, etc so I protect it in whatever way I deem necessary to prevent ANY unwantedness (disease, pregnancy, etc)...My partner is not the "owner" of my uterus, et all...Any unwantedness will be left with ME, not my partner...I simply don't trust that type of responsibility being left to my partner...However caring/well-meaning/responsible they might be...

I would feel the same (and have taught my kids of both sexes) if I were male...My penis would be MY responsibility, not my partner's...

I feel that if we each took responsibility over our OWN selves (entire selves, not just sexual organs), there'd be far less to stress over in this world...No?
