3. Tell me about one of your obsessions/fandoms: When I was in elementary school, I was obsessed with Animorphs for the longest time. It was an apparantly never-ending montly series of short chapter books about five kids who met an alien who gave them the power to aquire animal DNA through their skin and change into that animal. They used the power to fight an invading race of parasitic aliens, called Yeerks, that took over human bodies by wrapping around the brain and tapping into the memories and personalities of their human host. Indetectable, donchaknow. Can't tell you how many times I prayed that an alien would land in my yard and tell me I had to save the world by turning into my neighbor's dog. I mean, these kids were always getting tortured and missing sleep and getting grounded and having their asses handed to them, and I still would have given my left lung to fight the yeerk menace. It seriously took over my brain. I actually beat up another girl once for saying that the series was stupid. I was a horribly lost cause.
