Your story has been added to my C2 archive for bad Doomsday stories.

The C2

*blinks again*

*bursts out laughing*

Oh, precious. Brilliant. She's apparently left reviews for all the fics she archived, all 131 of them. Even adding stories by people who've given her nice reviews. Is someone trying to start up trouble or really, really want attention or going on a crusade or what? Either way, I'm amused.

Particulary when I peeked at her stuff, complete with random tense switches. Brilliant!

Will there be wank? Will there be insulted authors? Will miss "Amon Aredhel" get flamed? Will the intention behind turn out to be more complex than "EWWWWW!"? Only time and Time Lords can tell.

To be continued if it turns out to be exciting follow-ups, oh yes.

Her name looks awefully familiar, though. Wonder why... (Aside from the obvious LotR reference.)

ETA: Ah, I see she has "An Adventure in Norway" on there as well. Hum, is she going after every post-"Doomsday" but her own or what?

ETA2: Oooh, from her profile: First, if you are unhappy about me adding one or more of your Doctor Who Doomsday stories to my C2 for bad stories, my advice to you is to write a better story next time so no one wants to put it in a badfic comm. I will not remove stories from the comm unless the author improves them and lets me know I should take another look. If I agree there was enough improvement, the story will be removed from the comm. If the story is still bad, it will stay there. If you think I'm mean, I suggest you visit http://www.godawful.net/forums Compared to those posters, I am the Easter Bunny.
If for any reason the comm is deleted, rest assured it will return and will only take about 10 minutes to put back together. You can run, but you can't hide.

AHAHAHAHA. Oh, precious. Precious! The GAFF mention does make me wonder, though.

ETA3: Aww, someone gave her a bad review last week.

ETA4: She keeps editing the various things and took away her cute little threat, the spoilsport. Sniffle. In fact, one would almost wonder if someone was giving her pointers, given that she has also fixed the GAFF url. Huuuuuuum.

I know I'm so terrified, aren't you?

This really is precious and almost inspiring. She's trying to be so hardcore and awww, isn't she cute? Can't hide indeed.

This fandom brings the awesome crack.

You should be cowering! Cowering, I tells ye!

And remember, you have to rewrite your fic and send it to her for consideration. How else will you know that you're writing properly?

Crack is awesome.

Oh yeah - I'll totally let someone who switches tenses mid-fic and can't be bothered punctuate be the quality control of my fanfic. Nothing she doesn't like can ever be worth reading. Totally. I'll get on that rewriting right away before I lose as a human being.

Or not. I was rather in the mood not to bother.

If it wasn't for crack, I'd be bored more.

Heh. My best bit of bad feedback is from someone who made it sound like she was doing me a favor by telling me how wrong my fic was for not sharing in the POV of one of the main characters to the story. (It was a third person focused fic in the perspective of an alien, it was great challenge for me because I had to write very constrained descriptions.) She kept on saying, "if you did X, it would be better. You should write what character J is thinking about." Also, she didn't like that I wrote in present tense.

So I looked up her fic. It was on ff.net. Oh yeah, she must be just awesome then - that place just sings of quality writing. And I read some of her stuff. Tenses switched all over the place. Wacky punctuation. No idea of pacing or understanding of characterization.

*shakes head*

I never back down from concrit - I know I make mistakes. But it's hilarious to be criticized by a bad fanfic writer.

Heh. Well, ability to see flaws in writings of others doesn't always translate into having talent of your own. But when it really is appallingly bad, you do rather check that person off the personal "worth listening to" checklist.

Also, present tense rocks. So there.
