Ahaha, didn't we just have a petition like that? Didn't it die a rather painful death? (If you missed the first one, it is located here and made it onto fandom_wank here.)

But most importantly, this new one pointed to the DROSE mothership. That's what been spawning all these sudden "Drose" appearances. There are even banners! With that name on! And icons! 46 pages of "Drose"!

All who are very afraid, behind me and my trusty flamethrower. Though I think we might need more than fire here. Anyone got anything nuclear?

Why have not mushed pairing names died like a dead thing yet? Whyyyyy?

ETA the horrified second: Oh God, they refer to potential babies of their "Drose" couple as "drabies". And call stuff "drosetastic". NOOOOOO.

If you hate ship names, stay away from the Lost fandom. We have Jate, Skate, Sana, Jana, Shoone, Shayid...it's pretty hard to keep track. And Buffy has Spuffy and Bangel... I only resort to using mushed ship names when there's no room in the title or summary to use the full names of each character or out of (a bad) habit.

I'd never use Drose, though. I just go with NineRose or TenRose, that way you know which Doctor (because while they are the same man, Nine and Ten are not identical in characterization, gosh darn it)
