Idiotic weather and various news

In today's 'Ways to look idiotic'...

It rains in Norway. Only it snowed a few days ago, and with rain and cold nights, it's turned into ice. Rain on ice is unfortunate. How unfortunate, a person we'll call 'Camilla the idiot' gets an example of when she decides she needs to hurry a bit to catch the morning train. Hurrying and wet ice do not much agree. Down she goes. Ow.

Yep. I had my first fall on my ass of the winter season. Broke my umbrella and got some lovely bruises. Excellent.

I hates you, weather. So, anyone got any love to share? I crave some loving.

In brighter news, Doctor Who will be doing a Children in Need special this year as well. Ooooh.

O.J to discuss how he would've killed, if he'd done it in an interview on Fox

Makes me want to write a book about how I'd take over the world - you know, if I was going to. But man, that strikes me as a book in somewhat bad taste. Ugh. Which probably means it'll be a bestseller.

Kitten + boobies = wank

But of course.

In other news:
Norway might achieve record growth
Postman charged with burning post meant to be delivered
Neanderthal DNA recovered; could help unlock mysteries
Cuba aid money 'wasted' by exiles

Ouch.

It's raining in Barcelona right now, but temperatures are still quite warm and lovely (about 18ÂșC right now, which much be hot for you).

New Doctor Who footage with Martha in costume? Do I smell wank? :P

Ouch. *hugs* Have a Tennant's smile, it never fails to brighten my days.

Are there many arson-inclined postmen in Norway? Because I fear for my gift...

It's pissing down here. Has been for almost 24 hours straight. It doesn't get much more blah than this.

OW. I've hated icy streets ever since I was a kid: once I even fell down and tore my jeans in the worst spot you could ever imagine (yup, you imagined correctly: slap-bang in the centre of my bottom!), so I had to walk around all day wearing my coat indoors in a none-too-incospicuous way and trying to hide the fact that my panties were showing from the big hole at the back of my trousers! *sighs*

P.S: - weatherwise, the North of Italy is currently covered in a blanket of mist: hate it, hate it, hate it! Doesn't rain, doesn't snow: this stupid grey mist just hangs in mid-air, uselessly, and makes the landscape seem so dull and sad that you start believing the coming winter is going to last forever ... :(

Sorry to hear about your little spill and the resulting bruises. I guess I shouldn't be telling you that the weather here has been sunny and beautiful...although we did have a mini tsunami yesterday compliments of a large earthquake outside of Japan.

With regard to the OJ book/interview, people here in Southern California are going APESHIT over it. It's total OJ wank. Tom and Katie must be pissed off, as it is detracting attention from their publicity stunt wedding. ::VOMITS::

Fox (the network airing the interview) has been getting emails from people vowing never to watch their network again. And, as with the James Fray "A Million Little Pieces" fiasco, people are ranting and raving about how the publishing industry has no moral compass. I have to say...the fact that OJ was paid 3.5 million dollars to write this book is quite nauseating. I have no desire to read the book, and doubt I will watch the interview.

So, to end this post, here are some interesting OJ headlines (with links to the articles):

*loves you*

and O.J. Big, fat WTF there. *sigh* some people never learn. It's just wrong and an insult to the victim's families. What does he think he's doing?

Ouch...

Damn that pesky ice. Makes you want to run around with a big tub of salt to melt it.

Aw. Poor you. I remember doing stuff like that in winter in Canada. That's one good thing about Australia: very few icy streets.
