Yes, that's right, o people. Football season starts now in Norway. (And that's proper football to you, US. Not rugby-with-padding.) Awesome. And when spring kicks in a little more generously, I can do one of my favourite things in the world - lie in the sun on the verandah and listen to the radio reports from the matches. (TROOOOOMSØ, TROOOOOOMSØ, TROOOOOOMSØ...!)

My family is football addicts to the point that my parents, who are in Italy for the Easter holiday, texted me to tell me I had to text them with the results later in the evening. Heh.

Oh, and if you're in the Easter Egg Fic Exchange, today is Palm Sunday and you may post when you feel like it from now on. I'm gonna be composing a masterlist, so be nice if you let me know where you've posted - though I will watch for them.

Football season starting in spring sounds a bit weird. But that means you have matches in summer too, so I guess it has its advantages. Like most things.

Heh. Our football season goes from April to October, basically, since the matches are outdoors and winter is long and cold.

Though the teams do play various UEFA matches and Royal League during the winter, so it's not utterly football-less.

Fics kick the arse of politics any day.
