I am back.
A little tired and a little sunburnt, but it's good. Denmark was flat and sunny and I had an excellent time. Only exception was that we ran into this horrid racist cabbie, who ended up being the only cabbie we didn't tip. Otherwise, Danes are lovely people, even if their counting is weird. Went to Tivoli of course, and I won a little prize in the archery shooting. Didn't even know I could use a bow.
So, did I miss anything while gone?
Oh, and a bit amusingly, I appear to have two CSI fics here nominated in the short fic category. Old stories, but a bit flattering still.
Finally, an amusing opinion on the CSI finale I had waiting in my inbox this morning.
Ok, first off let me say, when I saw her go to him the way she did, the mannarisms of Sara.. Tell me she didn't look like a little girl who was seeking the approval of a male figure in her life the way in which she should not have.
Then, look at Grissom's face, his expressions as he undressed her with his eyes, thinking wow how many ways can I do this one? and tell me it was all that.. All that appropriate and all that good.
I am not going on age here, well physiacal age.. I mean out off all three - Sofia, Catherine, and Sara, ( I would have chosen Terri Miller by the way for Grissom) {and to me Sofia looks at least 5 years younger then Sara} , I would have chosen Sofia. Not cause of who she is, but with her the need (which Sara and Cat have) would be want all the way. (and her emotional maturity is 10 years Sara's senior)
Plus with Sofia, you have the best of both worlds put into one.. (cat and Sara on both sides of the room catapult into one another, the baggage is disbursed away from the character - Result of collision, Sofia.)
Rightio then!

Date: 2006-07-17 01:31 pm (UTC)-Flat and sunny; you are describing my current home - which is actually remarkably similar to Denmark other than the sweltering humid heat.
Glad you had a good time and yay for the fic nods :)

Date: 2006-07-17 01:39 pm (UTC)No, you are keeping up your health, you see. "Lowering your blood pressure" by lying down. And you are "increasing your intake of anti-oxidants" by eating strawberries. Thinking of devilish things is "mental exercise", which is always good.
So..there you go! Not lazy at all. *grin*
