Happy New Year, Evilings!

Here's to 2004 being another good year for those in a good place in their lives and a better year for those who wanted to kick 2003 in the bum.
Year's started off good for Norway, at least. We won the New Year's Day ski jump compition (it's a tradition) and the whole World Idol thingy. I wasn't really paying much attention to it and never watched the Norwegain version (I was in Australia, after all), but apparently our guy was a hit. Couldn't have been for the looks (he got known as 'the hobbit' as I understand it). Well, go us, I suppose. The whole thing made fandom_wank as well (sour grapes and politics make for wank, they do) Am endlessly amused.
Have some weird e-mails arrived in my inbox over the new year, I see. Might have another plagiarist to deal with. Jolly fun. Even e-mailed me to tell me she was ripping me off. How... considerate. But also got new fanart in my inbox! Whee! (Shall show it off later) Also, got gift from Saz in the mail. Thank ye!
Funny, but the new year arriving has made me feel generally good and optimistic, even quite generous. (Yes, now is the time to ask me favours. Well, except for permission to rip me off. No. Just no.)
