Oh yeah, I definitely would've liked to see more of them together. But I'm assuming the season took place over the course of 3 years (since it was 3 years in the alt-verse) so at least they had that much. Of course, the show didn't really make it clear how long it was, but it makes me feel better to think it.
And I'm sure they both want the other to be happy. Like Rose said, "Who's gonna hold his hand now?"
