misscam: (Bored now)
[personal profile] misscam
I am bored at work. Lala. The whole office is on a conferance and I am left to man the ship. I could have a wild orgy here and no one would know. Lala. I need entertainment.

Speaking of which - Best. Sockpuppet. Ever.

(The wank report.)

We'd never heard of a parish priest "caring" for his flock in this way before, and the piety of the reply made us glad we'd read it before, and not after, lunch.

Bwhahahaha!

And the Lord spake and sayeth: Thou shall not sockpuppet in the name of thy Lord - particulary not in such a pondscum dumb fashion you get caught! Bitch, please.*

* He didn't really. But I like to pretend he would. If I believe he existed. Errr.

In the fandom news:

Do not oppress the fanfic?

And then the world went 'Say WHAT'?

Meanwhile, CSI fandom might be in for wanky times (Possible spoilers.)

Oh, that'll be glorious fun. And I'll get many in the wankshelter needing a drink.

In other news:
Wolf population on the rise in Norway. Possibly.
Two murders happen not too far from me
Aircraft smacks into a building in NY
France to vote on law forbidding the denial of genocide against Armenians
Lennon's killer is not granted parole

I support the orgy idea! ;)

But being all alone here, who would I have an orgy with? Questions, questions.

I'm reaing the sockpuppet link and I can't quite wrap my head around it. It's too rediculous. Also, I'm probably dumb, but I don't get the point of the Ship of Fools website either. Is it religious satire or what?

Well, you have to invite the folks. ;)

And I'm not thinking of Jack Harkness having office orgies with his cute staff.

I have this vision of some sort of traumatic event that leads to a passionate kiss when they're both safe. Leading to the non-GSR shippers projectile vomiting all over their tv sets. Then wanking much.

Do not oppress the fanfic?

*facepalm* As someone who's sorta kinda in SGA fandom, I've been watching from the sidelines and wincing a lot. Seriously, this cannot end well. I don't know why people think it's acceptable to link people involved with the production to fanfiction about their production. Just, no.

And then het writers went 'Say WHAT'?

I... wow. I'm gobsmacked. This is like that Victoria Bitter person over in LotR who either thought she was Frodo or thought she was Elijah Wood. Or maybe both. I hope that woman doesn't actually have children, because that's terrifying. *shudder*

I've come to the conclusion that we need to spread the word all over the Net about what Attention-Seeking Personality Disorder is.

*reads fanficrants and gapes in shock*

Once upon a time, before the Internet, the mentally ill and personality-disordered could only disturb, annoy and scare the few dozen or so people who actually had the misfortune to be related to them or work with them. Now, they can bother an audience of hundreds or even thousands.

Wolf population: good news! But on what basis do they claim that all those pups will survive? The survival rate in the wild here in North America tends to be something less than 10 percent. And Petter Wabakken claims some pretty scary things about how much that pair killed, but is there any explanation for why they were so voracious? I mean, do they live off the carcasses in winter or something? I'm tempted to claim that maybe at least some of those "kills" were really from human poaching or wild dogs.

I could have a wild orgy here and no one would know.

Just make sure there are no security cameras running, or people watching said cameras! :) Something this guy probably wishes now that he'd remembered. http://www.wral.com/news/10053551/detail.html

And then het writers went 'Say WHAT'?

I read that one, and I still hope the woman in question is a troll, because if she's serious about anything, she needs therapy and drugs like last year, you know? I'm halfway expecting to see a post where she claims her "husband" is now going around the country setting fires with his eyebeams because he's so mad everybody is picking on poor little crazy wifey. And then she'll take credit for the chemical plant fire in Apex last week. And demand everybody bow down to her hubby Cyclops and nobody but her can write fic about him.

And I've just cursed that into happening, haven't I? So glad I'm not in the X-men fandom...

Fingers crossed for wolves! They're my one twu animal kingdom wuv. Don't ask. Also, ranchers--the wolves are fucking endangered, mmkay? Killing them is not the best way to solve things. Get the ptb to come up with a constructive compromise.

And I seriously, seriously doubt the mad claims on how many moose and sheep were killed. Wolves rarely eat on a daily basis--more often they gorge, and then don't eat for a few days, like most other predators. A full-size moose can feed a wolf pair for several days, I'd wager; they wouldn't go hunting if they had food right there.

That they are less exposed to certain dangers here, maybe? Norway and the US do differ in ways, after all. As for the kills, I don't know. I can possibly ask my mum, since she works in the department of agriculture and work with people will certainly know. Certain interest groups will certainly if not inflate numbers, then go for maxes rather than average when talking about kills. But wolves here have had easy pickings at times because we have a lot a lot of moose and sheep etc roam very free.

We call them farmers here. And they have different priorities, you know? Me, I'm for conserving the wolf. really, Norway's rich. We can afford to pay farmers and if it helps keeping them wolf from extinction, that is worth more.

Problem with the wolves is that they skip around a lot and there are different groups and wheen moose go missing, there's not always any way of knowing if wolves ate them or something else happened. Farmers will blame wolves. That's just how it is.

Ahh, that's the question now, isn't it? "News update! Miss Cam was caught in her office talking dirty over the phone to President George Bush, whilst snogging David Tennant! Full story at eleven!" ;) ;) ;)

Yes, you've cursed it. All will blame you.

And again, I'm sooooo glad I'm not in the fandom. I can run and hide when it happens. ;)
