From some shippers I've talked to, I've learned some actually get into a ship to see it become Canon. Motivations do vary, and this would mean you might have a different reaction to your ship not becoming Canon.
I like both Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose, just in different ways. But yes, Neville should get more love.
