- Hyperventilate, press the emergency-button a few times, call the "in case of emergency"-number that's bound to be somewhere, press the emergency-button again, call someone to prevent me from freaking out some more, press the button again.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
- Singing.
4. Favorite place?
- Um. Near a cool tree? I don't know.
5. Favorite vegetable?
- The pickle.

- The Last World, by Michael Crichton.

- It's more fun to get clean when you're dirty.

- No.

- Dudette, I don't even have a philosophy on how to tie my shoelaces. Life's too random to apply any sort of philosophy too.

- That everybody I care for dies.

- Not by my recollection, no.

- Write notes to my loved ones, decide what I wanted for my funeral, go horseback-riding, hug as many people as possible and fall asleep outside.

- Spend it. Find my own appartement. Spend a little on charity. A tiny little.

- Experience well-written stories.

- I can sing v. off-key. I dance a little better, but it's nothing special.

Yes, but I never seem to have the ingredients, equipment, etc. etc. blah blah blah laziness.

Seriously contemplate pulling the fire alarm. And then get annoyed.

A pitch-perfect singing voice, not the serviceable second-soprano-choir one I do have.

Alberta prairie; Aarhus, Denmark; could go on for a long time with this one...
5. Favorite vegetable?
Oh, gosh. I'm the crazy one who likes vegetables. Lucky, too, because I'm a vegetarian. Or maybe I convinced myself to like them out of necessity.

Inheritance of Loss, for my book club.

Uhm. Now I'm hungry.
2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator? I'd pull a book out of my bag (because I always have a book with me) and read while I wait for somebody to get me out.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I don't know if it qualifies as a talent, but I wish I were better at sports, in general.
4. Favorite place? This is a hard one! In Italy: (after my hometown) Sestri Levante. Abroad: Edinburgh.
5. Favorite vegetable? Rucola salad.
6. What was the last book you read? Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere
7. Are you Dirty or Clean? I'd say clean, I wash daily. But I think I'm missing something here.
8. Any tattoos and/or piercings? Nope, I'm dull.

1. How did we meet? YTDAW, I think. Something CSI-related, anyway.
2. What's your philosophy on life? Love and do whatever you want.
3. Negative or Optimistic? Negative, probably.
4. What was your dream growing up? I honestly can't rememeber. How sad.
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you? I had some health problems in the past, but other than that, no. I'm very lucky.
6. What was your first impression of me? "She's cool. Also, can I have her brains?" Never changed much. :P

8. What's your favorite memory of us? I have a few IM convos in mind. Some were hilarious, others were thought-provoking. I think this sums up what you represent to me perfectly.
9. Have you ever kept anything from me? I don't think so. For one thing, I don't have much to hide, and secondly you're one of the least nosy person I know.
10. What do you think of me as a person? You're smart, fun, strong-willed and nice. I find you a bit intimidating at times, but that's because I let myself be intimidated quite easily. Eeven over the internet. I'm a bit of a wimp, I suppose. *lol*
11. Do you think I'm sane or insane? You're mostly sane with a touhc of insanity that makes you really interesting. *g*

I'd record a tape to tell all the people in my life how much I love them (cheesy, I know, but true) and then go lie on the beach.

1. How did we meet?: I followed the link from your FF.net profile to your LJ, and when I finally got an LJ of my own, I started commenting a bit and friended you.
2. What's your philosophy on life?: "Don't try too hard to live by philosophies."
3. Negative or Optimistic?: Somewhere in between.
4. What was your dream growing up?: To be a cetologist with a house boat traveling all over the world to study dolphins.
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you?: Family drama. Yay.
6. What was your first impression of me?: I thought you were smart and funny, though I confess I wondered once or twice if you were the sort of person who takes badfic and Mary Sues and things like that they hate too seriously and turns into a righteous jerk for it.
7. Tell me one weird fact about you: I have to clip my fingernails at least four times a week, or else it feels icky. A lot of guys are surprised when they see my nails are shorter than theirs.
8. What's your favorite memory of us?: I think when you said something about Ishmael looking at my icon with the picture of Chip in it... it just amused me.
9. Have you ever kept anything from me?: Seeing how we don't know each other incredibly well, it's not like I've really had a chance to intentionally not tell you something...
10. What do you think of me as a person?: You're very intelligent, funny, able to express an honest opinion without coming across like a total jerk, thoughtful, nice, and not only able but willing to look deep into things to try to understand them--how could I not like you? :D

Try the emergency phone, check to see if I had a cell phone, sing to myself for a bit, then crawl out the top (and then stand on top of the elevator and think: "What the hell am I supposed to do now?" before attempting to climb up and pry open the door to the level above me).

Oh, just at random - martial arts.

- Anything to do with the visual arts. Painting, drawing, sculpting, graphic design, web design - I can't do any of them.

- Penn Bookstore, curled up in the alcove seat with a bottle of Snapple (raspberry tea), a toffee almond bar from Starbucks (such a guilty pleasure), my mp3 player, a notebook, pen, and a crapload of books.

1. How did we meet? I read OFUM, loved it, stumbled upon your LJ somehow, discovered you love Doctor Who as well. And the rest, as they say, is history.
2. What's your philosophy on life? I'm still trying to work it out.
3. Negative or Optimistic? Depends on the situation. Have been known to be both.
4. What was your dream growing up? I distinctly remember wanting to be a stewardess with British Airways at one point when I was really small (go figure), but i can't really remember whether I had a distinct dream of the future etc.
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you? nothing really earthhockingly awful. which is good, I guess? Various bits and pieces/episodes of family drama.
6. What was your first impression of me? snarky. But in a good way. The CSI fandom makes you go "aargh!" (and sometimes the new Who community does as well.) You always have something insighful to say in your journal entries.

(sometimes I look at my past achievements, and wonder where all that talent went. Like getting the top of my year in Year 8 French. Still haven't figured out quite how exactly I managed that.)

2. What's your philosophy on life? I don't know... that's a problem with me. I don't think I've really figured out what I believe yet. I have ideas but they are all jumbled and confusing.
3. Negative or Optimistic? I try to be optimistic but my first reactions are usually sort-of negative.

I'll just say it probably had something to do with when we tried to get away from living with our father and went with our mom and he called the police and she was arrested. Then in court the judge didn't give a shit what we said and automatically sided with our dad.
