misscam: (It's only hubris if I fail)

Nicked from my flist, as I could do with some kicking about writing.

A -- Go to the list of my fic (My fic masterlist, for instance ) and pick out a line or two from one of my stories. (Must be a full line, please -- no sentence fragments or speech tags or other such nonsense.)
B -- I will respond with which story of mine I think it's from.
C -- Cyber chocolate and a drabble to anyone who stumps me. (CSI or Doctor Who only, I'm afraid.)

Meanwhile, YAY SPRING. It is shiny and springy here and I wish it was Easter already. There are few things as lovely as Norway in spring after a long winter. I could do with some lovely, since I am cranky from working overtime and other annoyances.

In other news:
Cheese webcam proves a hit. (Ehehehehe.)
Female students kidnap brothel owner.
Dung mites may help track the rise and fall of civilizations.
Row over Stalin posters in Ukraine. (Am I the only one who reacted with amusement to parts of that story?)
Gay pastor gets job after all and bishops may lose the right to appoint pastors asa result of this bruhahaha. (I think we can seem this one a WIN for the non-conservative church forces, yes. And also the job the priest is getting instead is partly at the church whose graveyard two of my grandparents are buried at. It kinda pleased me when I read.)

Okay, I'm giving that meme a try. Now, where is this line from?

He doesn't feel too bummed. The rest of it was rather pants.

Today's Not Over Yet? About a Lord Byron poem, as I recall.

Yeah, it was exactly that. Your Doctor-related theory why Byron's epic Don Juan was never finished.

All of them put together and there might not seem much in common. Perhaps there isn't really anything except him. But one look in their minds, and the TARDIS usually knows he will take them before even he does.

I don't really feel like stumping you too badly. I just love this fic that it's from.

Which is a nicer one than saying it was never finished because Byron was busy buggering around, I have to say.

Ah, TARDIS POV. That narrows it down. It's one one about Rose seen through the TARDIS, innit? Five Things the TARDIS Understood About Rose Tyler (and One She Didn't About the Doctor), yes?

Yeah. :D

I'm stealing this meme!

Isn't watching cheese age like watching paint dry? Someone should put up a webcam of THAT.

Can I try to stump you again?

You may try :P

To be fair towards poor George Gordon, who did do a great deal of gallivanting, philandering and probably buggery, too, it was indeed his premature death by malaria that prevented him from continuing it.

Yay!

"You could've died!" he rages at her. "That much radiation is deadly to humans! I told you to stay! Why do you never stay?"

"I'm not your dog!" she flings back.

He's always been proud of it and has always thought it brilliant just as it is, but, right now, he wishes somewhat he hadn't stuck so many hard knobs on it.

I don't think that'll stump you but it was a good excuse to reread and avoid doing uni work. And I might steal this meme too.

He was also planning his great Greek adventure, wasn't he? All that had to be eating some writing time.

But well done.

Aww... now I want to try again until I do stump you. I want a drabble!

But I won't be mean.
