Is the Martha-hate/defenders TO THE DEATH of Rose stuff getting very batshit? I dared to be critical of the Shakespeare episode (which had weak moments, IMHO) and some troll popped up ranting on about 'oh god u people with yr rose is so awesom and ur slaggin martha already get over it' which was a tad odd given that's the exact opposite of what I was saying, but there you are. I can only assume some sections of the fandom are rather over-sensitive at the moment and on the lookout for batshittery to the point of seeing it where none exists?

I ship Rose/Doctor [Nine or Ten] (and Rose/Doctor/Jack and Rose/Jack and Doctor/Jack). I like Martha. Maybe I'll ship her; maybe not. Do I have a problem with Charley/Eight or Romana/Four or Jo/Three or Tegan/Five or Jamie/Two or, hell, even Ace/Seven? Hell, no. Will I scream blue murder if someone ships Martha/Ten? Hell, no. Reinette/Ten? Nah - I might not read it, or if it's a meta/discussion post I might give up halfway through and not comment, but if that's what floats your boat go for it.

Now, posting Romana/Ten or Martha/Ten ship-fic to time_and_chips, or Rose/Ten ship-fic to life_on_martha - probably a bit idiotic. Or maybe just misguided ;)

Maybe I need to get one of those He loves them all icons - preferably with Martha and Jack in it.
