lovely to hear you voice! labs are pretty nifty, aren't they? pharmaceutical labs are filled with cool looking things, and i actually get to work at one this summer.
i hope you enjoy the rest of the week :o)

Date: 2007-05-01 10:46 pm (UTC)I think it's lovely hearing your voice too. It makes a big help when you can put a voice with the person. Otherwise, you're just... words on a page.
Hmmm... I think I need more sleep. Yes.

Date: 2007-05-01 11:12 pm (UTC)You have a lovely and very comprehensible accent! (However, you speak kinda fast *g*). You interestingly sound Welsh, at least in some words. I have another Norwegian friend, who, when speaking English sounds a cross between English and Australian. *grin*

Happy Labour Day.
Italy sounds exciting. :)

Date: 2007-05-02 07:40 am (UTC)Yeah, labs are awesome. I got to work in it a bit the other day and felt like a raven in a house full of shiny things. We also have an actual drug lab - you know, for the more hardcore stuff - which is even more exciting. But of course, very few get to actually go inside there.

Date: 2007-05-02 07:44 am (UTC)I don't speak fast! You listen slow :P As for accents, Norwegians have a lot of different ones and that affects how we speak English, too. I do also love Gaelic, so I could be mimicking things slightly without even being aware.

Date: 2007-05-02 07:46 am (UTC)My voice totally doesn't sound like it does in my head. But ah well, it'll do.
Italy will be very exciting, yes.

Date: 2007-05-02 07:19 pm (UTC)Your voice is cute and so very different from the way I imagined it (not that I thought you had an 'uncute' voice, just different). :P
And I like your accent, it's clear and quite different from anything else I've heard before. That'd be the Norwegian in it, I imagine. I actually spoke French with the few Norwegians I met, so I have no frame of reference.
Your dream was wacky, like most dreams are. I dream a lot but I think I had only a couple of fandom-related dreams. The most memorable one was about the two of us driving around in a pink convertible with Gary Dourdan. LOL. I think I told you about that already, though.

Date: 2007-05-03 08:42 am (UTC)Probably some to do with Norwegian, yeah. But I don't have a very typical Norwegian-English accent. I probably have a Norwegian tilt to it, though.
I want a convertible, but not pink. Wouldn't mind Gary Dourdan either, heh.

Date: 2007-05-03 08:43 am (UTC)And it's in July, so it will be hot.
Just remembered I hadn't listend to this yet...
Date: 2007-05-09 10:19 am (UTC)I haven't heard your voice in a while, I'd forgotten what you sound like, hee.
Also, *kicks you* Write, babe. Though I need to kick myself, too.

Date: 2007-05-09 10:23 am (UTC)There's probably some Aussie in there now too, but of course I can't hear Aussie accents cos I have one. ;)

Date: 2007-05-09 10:47 am (UTC)You're probably right, I guess I expected her to sound more British, lol.
There's probably some Aussie in there now too,
I wouldn't know, I've had very limited experience with Aussie accents. All I can think of (in term of comparison) is Jesse Spencer from House, but Australia is a big place so I guess one accent could not be taken as representative of a hugeass continent. :P
You should do a voice post, only for comparative purposes. *g*
