Silliest post ever - but here goes. Pics from various adventures in World of Warcraft with my main character, a lvl 70 hunter named Camillaes.

Capital city of the Night Elves - as my character is - Darnassus. I rather find it pretty. Shame it's miles away from everywhere else :(

Be veddy veddy quiet, I'm hunting dragons. My pet is keeping the dragon attacking him while I shoot from a range. Typical hunter fighting.

I just got an epic flying mount. Hurrah! (Epic flying mount being faster than normal flying mount - a lot, lot faster. But also a lot, lot more expensive.)

Me disguised as a very ugly orc, doing a bit of a dance.

Me and [livejournal.com profile] lotus79's characters both disguised as orcs. It's all part of a very sneaky chain of quests to help some nice dragons.

I'm tanking Netherspite. Ow!

Last boss of Karazhan going down - and I've turned into a worgen.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My guild taking on Nightbane, the other last boss of a 10-man raid instance known as Karazhan. My character got new boots from that kill.

Nasty ogre going down - first boss of Gruul's Lair raid, 25-man raid instance.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Our first time killing Gruul - working together with another guild for that one. We've killed him several time since.

I've managed brilliantly to die up in the air. Fun run to The Eye, 25-man raid instance.

Eveyone has been killed (minus one fleeing priest) by first boss in Serpentshrine Cavern. Oh dear.

I need to get me some icons of my own character, heh. But yes, that's rather what World of Warcraft looks like.

Omigosh, I'm looking at your UI going O.O! I play WoW on a laptop, so I've had to do some creative juggling to keep it from getting overcrowded (including installing Bartender and shrinking button sizes).

You're so much further into the game than me. I hit 60 a little over a week ago and just got my epic mount (Swift Gray Ram - IF Exalted ftw) Sunday after doing mining farming runs.

Did take part in my first "raid". Quotes around that because it was Zul'Gurrub with a bunch of 70s running wild. Screenies here if you want a laugh. You can see my char Liskurja in there either healing, standing (while I was trying to figure out who needed a heal) or dead. ;-)

I need to go through my screencaps and post some. And make new icons as this one is from when Lisky was lvl 16. A looooooooong time ago now. *grin*

That looks like so much fun. Plus its artistically beautiful. Great work.

Hmm, I'd love to get involved in WoW but I suspect my ISP won't let me. My ISP SUCKS!

Extremely fun - and extremely addictive, of course.

I have *just* enough space, actually. I probably have to fiddle with the UI sooner or later to get room for everything :(

Heh, I didn't get my epic mount until lvl 62 or something. Got a tiger and a talbuk (Kurenei exalted ftw) now, in addition to the flying one. My next aim is a Netherdrake.

I probably spend far too much time playing it, heh.

ZG is hilarious! I went there with another lvl 70 once and we managed to kill mobs on our own. My guild does do Molten Core fun runs now and then, just for the heck of it.

Time and levels do fly by, huh? :)

Yeah, it's fairly pretty. I have way too many screenshots on this computer of just WoW landscapes. Didn't post them because I figured people would get bored :(

Your ISP is not fast enough, you mean? Mine's not all that great either, but I still manage okay.

The graphics (specially the landscapes) are pretty and that's all I can say.

I would love to have a Talbuk and definitely a netherdrake. I saw a netherdrake in Shattrath and was all "I want!" to my husband (who plays as well - Edorien in the raid pics). The rep grind is going to be fun, I'm sure.

We had 19 people in ZG and several deaths, so I'm impressed you and an one other managed it. Of course, we weren't exactly going about the raid in an organized fashion. It was basically line up, let the tanks go and DPS the bosses to death while the healers were going "ZOMG who needs a heal?!"

My levelling has actually been rather slow compared to most people. Lisky was my first char, and I started her in May 2006. Played a month or so to level 8 while messing around with alts as well, then didn't play for months. Got my husband playing around October 2006, and got back into it myself. 50-60 was actually my quickest levelling, done in about 3-4 weeks while also tagging my RPs with my friend and getting ready for my friend's wedding. Of course, Steve and I loved exploring the different areas and trying the different quests too. :)

Because of where I live the only broadband access I have is via satellite. Its faster than the dial up I had here (18 kbps), but I'm still not sure its fast enough for WoW. Plus they limit the amount I can down/upload every day.

I really want to try WoW though.

Advice: try Lurker from Below first. Hydross is arguably the second-hardest in SSC (even though my now-dead-and-gone guild took him down first, but... never mind).
