Pictures from a Saturday morning in Norway, as by various requests and pictures I just felt like taking. Might make a second post later in the week, because I ran out of batteries.

A lot of people wanted to see my bookshelf. So this is one of them:

And with the DVD shelf next to it:

Aw cute cat.

The inside of your fridge looks totally different to mine. Where are all the vegetables?

And is that Sarah Waters'
Night Watch
I see?

Below the milk - I have a vegetable drawer at the bottom of the fridge, you can't actually see it. To keep them longer, and all.

It's Terry Pratchett's Night Watch. I'm a huge Pterry reader.

Do I spy lots of Terry Pratchett novels on these shelves? I highly approve.
Also? Excellent taste in DVDs. :P

Oh yeah you do. I have 85% of his books, or thereabouts. He's one of three categories of books I read at the moment: Pterry, historical non-fiction and romance novels.

Hehe. The shelf you see there is actually my quality shelf for my favourite DVDs. It's all about which DVDs are beloved enough to stay there. (I have another for all my other ones - it's bigger.) You can't see all of it, but yeah, BSG moved in. (Grey's Anatomy got demoted.)

Heeee, I see 'Ekte Geitost'!
And I think we have a table just like that one, only painted white, outside on our deck at home. Love the kitty - such a hard life being a loved feline...

*misses the hills*

interestingly enough, norway in the springtime looks almost exactly like the blue ridge mountains in Virginia in the spring time. I think I was picturing norway as being ... different somehow. probably because i think norway and i think fjordes. don't know why. must be my ignorant american coming out ;)

KITTY! *squeezes*

ah, you have bill bryson, diana gabaldon, pratchett, AND books about hitler and eva. i LOVE people who actually read a variety. they tend to be much more well-rounded.

oh, look a kitty. ;)

You do indeed - it's a nice thing to have on toast in the morning, with milk of course.

I have hills all around me and half live on one. It's pretty.

Why yes :P

Yeah, it did - did I forget to tell you? I have a horrid memory. Bah.

Heh, yeah we're probably most known for our fjords. But the most spectacular ones are in the western parts of Norway and I live east. I do have a fjord very close, it's just not as grand as what you'll see on touristy cards, heh.

I am a book omnivore. Pretty much all genres get a go.
