Random What the Hell CSI thoughts after season finale:
- You bastards! You killed Warrick!
- Warrick :(
- Mostly good episode, though. The team breakfast gave me such flashbacks to the series one finale.
- Bye-bye Warrick/Catherine ship that never really was. Kinda lost interest in it last few years, but still. I feel a bit sad.
- Without Sara and Warrick, it just doesn't feel much like CSI anymore. I miss the first few seasons and the team interaction. I mean, I did like that Grissom/Sara happened, but by then, interest had waned. I don't think I'll watch the show too much anymore, really.
- Not sure what else to say. Almost feels like I'm saying goodbye to the show now. Maybe I am.
Random What the Frak BSG thoughts after "Guess What's Coming to Dinner":
- Cylons learning mortality! Shit, this rocks so much. And the Six that got shot, she'll get to experience near death? Oh, man. And all this dedication they have to the Final Five. Oh, that's going to let them down realising they're no more perfect than them.
- President Roslin! Much as I love Laura and Bill, it's nice to see President Roslin now and then. And ow, her scene with Tory. Being dying is not a good thing for presidents, I think. Loved her taking Baltar and the book Bill was reading with her to the basestar. Little softness in all her determination. I like it.
- Athena got badass for Hera. Sometimes, I wonder if Athena's decision to be human has just made her infinitely more scary than being Cylon. It's like she overdoes it, or something. And Hera is freaking me out a bit. "Bye-bye"? Eep!
- Gaeta :( But the singing was so well done.
- Lee, Lee, Lee... I don't know if I want to hate you or pat you on the head like a puppy.
- Roslin is going to have to tell Baltar to shut up a whole lot, I'm thinking.
- Is it wrong I'm actually feeling with the Cylons a bit? Interesting how humans and Cylons mirrored each other in this episode - both planning somewhat doublecrossing.
- Spidery!Cylon senses. Hah. But even in that, the Four are still acting so very human. I don't think they'll just want to wander off with the Cylon fleet and play happy Cylon families. How do you give up humanity after a lifetime of it?
- Kara and Roslin having a sort of reconcilliation in looks more than words. Lovely.
- I knew the "Jump!" was coming and it was still glorious. Can't wait for the reactions next week. Not the brightest idea you ever had though, Laura.
- Lots of interesting ideas, but I'll await the next parts to see how it plays out before I decide if or how much I liked this episode, I think.
Random What the Frak BSG thoughts after the trailer for next episode:
- Whaaaat, two weeks? I can't wait two weeks for next episode, are you kidding me?
- Dude, did Saul knock up Caprica-Six? That would be one interesting baby.
- Lee becomes President or VP? Oh dear.
- Sci-fi summary mentioned "power struggle in the fleet" - I'm guessing new Prez or even Lee maybe won't want to follow the plan, and from the promo, Adama seems to jump from the fleet to gethis girlfriend Laurahis people on the basestar back. Not the first time Adama's gone above the civilian government if so. With all the love and reading and Laura stuff, mustn't forget Admiral Adama is fully capable at badass and have thrown presidents in the brig. Just saying. He's gonna LOSE HIS SHIT and I'm gonna LOVE IT
- Tigh's punching out Adama? Just another of his hallucinations a la the shooting in an earlier episode, or not? If he does it, Bill's gotta start thinking really hard about what's up with old Saul.
- Wow, this could mean those "Hub" spoilers are really true.
Random What the Wasp thoughts after Doctor Who:
- How many Agatha Christie titles could you spot then?
- Donna calls Ten on his smell bluff. I loves Donna.
- How more British could this get? Yowza.
- Excellent Nine reference, yes.
- I rather fangirl Agatha Christie. *shameface*
- If a gargoyle falls down, you move, silly!
- This is very, very silly. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing with how serious all the other show I've watched this week have been.
- All companions must snog the Doctor. That seems to be some sort of rule. This time, for detoxing? Hah.
- Big confrontation just like in the books. Very tongue-in-cheek about it all. Bit overkill at times.
- This plot is really, really very silly.
- Giant wasp car chase. Well, there's a line you don't type every day.
- The Doctor's chest of souvenirs! Nice character touch. Wonder what else he has in there?
- Silly episode, but I rather enjoyed the rump without being blown away.
Next week, no new CSI, BSG or Doctor Who. Wah. But Eurosong shall be awesome, yes.
And because
lotus79 felt it was unfair I didn't share it with all of you: split penises! No, really.
