I kind of sort of accidentally wrote a 3,000 word Narnia fic. Oops? But er, yeah, would anyone be willing to give it a beta eye and weed out my mistakes and typos? Knowledge of Narnia helpful. I'd be mighty grateful.
In other stuff:
- Catch the Frak Up, a SciFi summary of Battlestar Galactica up to the episodes to air in January. Includes calling Adama and Roslin 'soulmates'. Heh.
- First BSG webisode is live!
- Obama shipping is apparently SRS BSNS, who knew?
- David Tennant's understudy apparently got a standing ovation at West End, which is nice. I'd hate it if disappointed Doctor Who fans managed to do something stupid there. And owow, back pains :( I feel sympathy pains just from thinking about it.
- Also in Tennant-as-Hamlet news, someone has apparently started a petition to get the play on DVD. Hmm.
- The story of the corrupt Illinions governor has been amusing me greatly, mostly for the sheer stupidity involved in it. Latest, governor refuses to quit even and is working while out on bail (bwhaha), attorney general of Illinois tries to get him declared unfit to serve.
- Dickweedery never dies, as this guy proves: What troubles me so deeply, and should trouble all thinking Americans, is that there is a real, unbroken line between the jihadist savagery in Mumbai and the hedonistic, irresponsible, blindly selfish goals and tactics of our homegrown sexual jihadists. OH NO YOU DIDN'T.
- Also in the same league, the Vatican is opposing an UN Declaration on decriminalisation of homosexuality. Because they're dickweeds. (Not like the UN resolution says 'hey, homosexuality is grand and smashing, lets all get behind it!', but rather that people shouldn't get bloody EXECUTED for it or face other punishments, ffs.)
- If you missed it, Pride and Prejudice as Facebook updates. Pure genius.

Date: 2008-12-12 10:58 pm (UTC)Never thought I would be, but rewatching the movies trigged a major nostalgia trip in me that also apparently stirred some writing urge. My brain is a weird thing.

Date: 2008-12-13 06:19 am (UTC)The nerve of that guy, trying to make legal protestors trying for constitutional right the same as murdering terrorists. Jackass.

Date: 2008-12-13 11:25 pm (UTC)Because protesting legally and peacefully for what you percieve as a wrong is clearly the same as blowing up hotels and killing people. CLEARLY.
