Oh, Supernatural fandom. You know, I don't even watch the show, but I do occasionally watch the fandom. And what goes on there in regards to female characters is fucking scary. Okay, maybe SPN writers aren't the greatest at writing female characters, but no way are they that horrible to inspire that much hate. Not to mention so much of it is targetted at the characters rather than the writers, which seems a bit off if it's the writing you got issues with.
