Ahhh... makes me all nostalgic for the days of my youth, when I too would take action figures and threaten to kill them if America didn't bow to my demands... seven G.I. Joes and a couple of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lost their lives because America's leaders had no sense. Those stupid infidels.

What sort of execution would Cody get? Melt the hostage! Oh! maybe "WMD" didn't stand for "Weapons of Mass Destruction" so much as "Weapons of Melt Destruction" -- for the sake of "John Adams" and all the Americans like him, we should send the inspectors back in to look for stockpiles of magnifying glasses! *runs off to propogate fears of "Solar Terrorism"* :P

So, not only are the terrorists good at kidnapping people, and giving demands, they're also good at Photoshoping pictures? I'm sad to say, but I think they're slightly better than I am. I saw this on the Daily Show last night. It amuses me.

On the topic of action figures, out of my LotR collection, my favourites are Boromir, Gimli, my two "Prologue Warrior Elves", Rivendell Elrond, and the head Ring Wraith (he's got the special stabby knife for 'attempt murder 1' on Frodo). I have plenty more figures, but from other fandoms. ^^

I think I can safely say I kick ass on LotR action figures. I have Eomer, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Coronation Aragorn, All five hobbits (including Bilbo, though my wittle brother ran off Sam because his name is Sam too), Coronation Faramir (exclusive special figure, baby!), four Ringwraiths (bit of a pervy wraith fancier. Or at least I think they're damn spiffy) Eowyn, Coronation Eowyn, Coronation Arwen, and . . . some other people I can't remember. Oh, and a couple of the little Armies of Middle Earth people. And Minimates! I love Minimates! http://www.minimatescentral.com/ASLGroup.jpg Minimates! They're itty bitty and cute! I have a couple Dawn dolls as Mary Sues to torment my action figures, so it's just like OFUM.

How could anyone not miss a show that had turtles that wear belts with their initials on them, a brain-like alien in a robot body, an evil guy who wears spikey things on his shoulder pads and a purple cape, and a mutant rat that teaches karate? :D

Donatello would probably be my favorite today. I liked Leonardo back then because I had a cat named Leonardo... you gotta love kid logic. :P

Donatello was my favorite, because he's full of geeky sciency goodness--also, my favorite color happens to be purple. Leonardo was a close second, though. I was never big on Raphael...too crude.

That's why I'd like Donatello today. :) Raphael wasn't a favorite of mine, either. His weapons looked silly to me, too. ^_^; And Michaelangelo annoyed me when he stole the rest of the turtles' pizza and hid in the cupboard afterward. :P

Actually, the other Eowyn in her armor is much prettier than the Coronation Eowyn.
