The end is now in sight - unless I get widely off course, it'll end up at 36 chapters and an epilogue (I have just finished writing ch. 33). Longest non-humour fic I'ever done. Yay me.

Speaking of fanfic - anyone else noticed the flamewar in full force here? I guess a fanfic proclaiming itself "Anti GSR. Not favorable to Sara" was asking for it, really. And I'm taking notes for OFUCSI, oh yes... Them shipperwars, them shipperwars...

And the next time someone IMs me with "how r u" I may have to scream.

Weee! More CSI wank. I don't know what's worse in the reviews, the people who are like "omg don't bash Sara!" or the ones that look up synonyms in the thesaurus for new ways to bash G/S shippers. Nice to know at least that as crazy as YTDAW gets called, there are in fact crazier people in other way crazier parts of the fandom. Way to go and congratulations, idiots.

I went ahead and wasted five minutes of my life reading this tripe and have decided that the craziest people in all this are the ones that leave a review saying "EXCELLENT WORK!".

Like, okay, did they miss this line uttered by none other than Grissom:

Yes. Grissom giggles like a schoolgirl. In a story that's not a parody. If excellent means crap, then yes, EXCELLENT WORK.

I'm so glad the fandom is bringing the crazy this summer. I was beginning to get bored just waiting around for spoilers and babydoll has sadly been gone for quite a while.
