East of the Sun, West of the Moon update again - ch. 35 is up here (ff.net) and here (CSI Forensics). Sara POV, Sara makes a decision... (I'm already getting 'you're so evil' review for that chapter. I can only imagine what the end will do. Muhahaha. I'm so easily amused.)

So here I am, sitting in the morning sun, wrapped in a pink sheet, typing on dad's laptop, cat washing himself nearby. It is going to be another lovely summer day outside soon and I'm going to lie in the sun and read. And later, listen to the football on the radio. I love summer in Norway, once the weather cooperates. And today it seems to.

As I sat out there yesterday in the evening sun, I felt at peace. I often do, just with me and the land. Anyone else have it like that? Or am I just weird? *pets Norway*

Am also having fun answering the Featured Author of the Week questions. Whee. Of course, am still mulling over who to pick to go after me. But I have a few days to decide yet. I know I'm not gonna pick the Snape/Grissom writer I found the other day, that's for sure. What is with the sudden HP/CSI crossovers? Was that Snape-impregnates-Nick the other day, too.

Pictures from Europride in Oslo! Sir Ian McKellen was there, whee.

I'm not in the habit of leaving OMG WTF U SUCK reviews and I'm certainly not about to do it now, but knowing that there's - what, one more chapter and an epilogue to go? Concerns me just a little, I must admit. ;)

Also, I saw a link to an HP/CSI crossover the other day in the [livejournal.com profile] pottersues community and inwardly wept for the fate of my fandom, to say the least.

Aaaand the meme will go in my journal, heh.

*sigh*

You know, I wish I could watch a nice sunset.

Ok, I agree about the CSI/HP Crossovers... Some of them hurt my brain.

He. He. He. What, you were expecting me to neatly tie it all up and have a dual wedding at the end there? :P

Let's just say the ending leaves some up to the reader to decide for herself.

I saw that link too. I headdesked painfully. Aaaaaarg, nooooooo. And Snape should never knock up Nick. Ever. Never.

:)

No nice sunsets about?

Yeah, it's not two settings that naturally lend themselves to cross over, sheesh. Though it could be done, by a good writer.

Oooh no no no no, I haaaate wedding fics. I'm not asking for a dual wedding, or a single wedding, or a civil ceremony, or anything of the sort, heheheh. I'm just asking for a little less of the WHOA WHOA WOE I'm leaving for SAAAN FRANCISCOOO angst.

The thought of it being possible to Mary Sue or Marty Stu CSI makes me very, very sad.

:)

I'll do it, but tomorrow. Cause I need to go to bed now. Err, nowish. Something like that.

I don't mind having to work one Sunday a month. I just wish it weren't a Sunday when I would really like to sleep in. Not that I don't wish I could sleep in every Sunday, but there are particular Sundays that beckon with their sleepfulness.

Can you tell that I didn't sleep much last night? I'm all kinds of rambly. And incoherent.

Does it help if I tell you the last chapter is Catherine, who isn't much an angster at all, and the epilogue isn't that long even if it is slightly-angsty Grissom?

You know, I can't actually imagine Grissom and Sara getting married. I've tried. It fails. I can see a relationship, but marriage? No.

I've seen plenty of CSI Sues about. Grissom-Sues, Nick-Sues, Warrick-Sues... They're out there. You just have to look harder below the shipper wars.

Arg, I'm starting to feel your lack-of-sleep pain. You must get a good, good sleep soon, even if I must come and abduct you to Norway in order for it to happen.

Sundays are meant for sleep. And in winter, skiiing.

Might be a good one in the future, you never know.

My AIM QuickBuddy is a dodgy thing on this computer, but I may get it to behave later. *twops it*

But first - sun and summer and ice cream!

It was 96 Degrees F* here today... 99 on Wednesday.

Ice Cream sounds like a good idea.

Sara leaving fo good...I didn't leave you a 'you're so evil? review even if you probably deserved it. Because come on...I didn't expect a double wedding cerimony, but still...

And a CSI/Harry Potter crossover with a Grissom/Snape pairing? My icon says it all.

Now, now. There's still a chapter and an epilogue to go, so it's not like I left it at that chapter (then people would probably have killed me). I'm only minorly evil :P

Ah, join the club of WTF icons...

The lovely Colin Firth with an equally lovely WTF expression...Yours beat mine by far. But I swear I saw a WTF Grissom icon once that was absolute perfection.

*doesn't shut up*

My Mum thinks he's HOT. :P

You evil! You evil!
=(

Just kidding. But...I dare think what the end will be like.

Snape is Sexy. But Snape and Grissom do not go.

left you a review at Out of the Lab site. to me the ending of that chapter seemed like something that could actually happen in the show. It is Grissom after all.

Gotta love Colin Firth. Though Grissom ain't bad either,

Shall I tell yourboss you're using work time to harass me over my gentleman droolings, huh?

From: [identity profile] misscam.livejournal.com
*takes a bow* Yes, I am evil. :P:P But don't start dreading the ending before you've even read it.

Two guys being sexy is, contrary to popular belief, not in itself enough reason to pair them up. Sheesh.

Yeah. Sadly, Grissom do be Grissom.

Thanks for the review :)

Well, when I slept last night, it was apparently a good sleep. It did take me awhile to fall asleep, alas, and the child woke me up at 7 this morning (by accident). So, it wasn't a long enough sleep. And I didn't manage to fall back asleep before I needed to get up. *sigh*

I must come off as awfully frightening in my sleepless state if you're willing to abduct me in order for me to sleep. Oy. I'm sorry.

I agree. Sundays are meant for sleep, lazing about and reading. I'm not so sure about the skiing thing, though.

I just feel your pain. I was in theatre for a while and in the period leaning up to premieres... Well, lets just say sleeping got in the way and was often the first to go. So I have a sense of what prolonged lack of sleep does. It used to give me fatigue headaches I just could not escape and draining reserves cost extra. So I'm remembering those times reading your entries.

It's tradition to go our skiing on winter Sundays in Norway. In summer, you bike or go for walks. My country is a weird one.
