Summer Sun
Jun. 26th, 2005 06:38 amEast of the Sun, West of the Moon update again - ch. 35 is up here (ff.net) and here (CSI Forensics). Sara POV, Sara makes a decision... (I'm already getting 'you're so evil' review for that chapter. I can only imagine what the end will do. Muhahaha. I'm so easily amused.)
So here I am, sitting in the morning sun, wrapped in a pink sheet, typing on dad's laptop, cat washing himself nearby. It is going to be another lovely summer day outside soon and I'm going to lie in the sun and read. And later, listen to the football on the radio. I love summer in Norway, once the weather cooperates. And today it seems to.
As I sat out there yesterday in the evening sun, I felt at peace. I often do, just with me and the land. Anyone else have it like that? Or am I just weird? *pets Norway*
Am also having fun answering the Featured Author of the Week questions. Whee. Of course, am still mulling over who to pick to go after me. But I have a few days to decide yet. I know I'm not gonna pick the Snape/Grissom writer I found the other day, that's for sure. What is with the sudden HP/CSI crossovers? Was that Snape-impregnates-Nick the other day, too.
Pictures from Europride in Oslo! Sir Ian McKellen was there, whee.

Date: 2005-06-25 11:42 pm (UTC)I don't mind having to work one Sunday a month. I just wish it weren't a Sunday when I would really like to sleep in. Not that I don't wish I could sleep in every Sunday, but there are particular Sundays that beckon with their sleepfulness.
Can you tell that I didn't sleep much last night? I'm all kinds of rambly. And incoherent.

Date: 2005-06-25 11:46 pm (UTC)You know, I can't actually imagine Grissom and Sara getting married. I've tried. It fails. I can see a relationship, but marriage? No.
I've seen plenty of CSI Sues about. Grissom-Sues, Nick-Sues, Warrick-Sues... They're out there. You just have to look harder below the shipper wars.

But first - sun and summer and ice cream!

Date: 2005-06-26 10:09 am (UTC)I must come off as awfully frightening in my sleepless state if you're willing to abduct me in order for me to sleep. Oy. I'm sorry.
I agree. Sundays are meant for sleep, lazing about and reading. I'm not so sure about the skiing thing, though.

Date: 2005-06-26 12:07 pm (UTC)It's tradition to go our skiing on winter Sundays in Norway. In summer, you bike or go for walks. My country is a weird one.
