What kind of layout would you want? S1 styles (with all the html and all) are something I can't do, but if it's something S2 (boxer (like mine), opal - based on other people's base codes), I could swing it.

You're currently using S1--if you want to make use of tags and such, that only works for S2 (which also allows paying users 30 links on the side, and people who know how to play with layouts can add extra links through theme layers and such). If that helps you any.

Yeah yours is currently S1 style and any editing is done by html completely. Or there are free layout communities like lj_layouts but they're usually pretty teenybopperish where you can c&p the html and just use as your own layout.

S2 is what I use (boxer style), velocityofsound, briasoleil (component style), itsatapewitch (opal style) use (for example). They're easier to edit because they're usually editted on already existant codes. For example, mine is an edited version of aeval's code that she made public.

I definitely could but it would take me some time. If you want this done within the next week or so, I'm not your girl.

ignited is the one who made the original edits to the opal template so I'd be using a variant of her codes.

I can do all the coding on my own layout and then while I'm doing it, send you the link to the layout and you can tell me what adjustments you want to the links and colors and anything else. And I'd need to know if you have any colors you'd prefer and what you'd want on the header picture before I could start. And your email addy so I could send you the links to the layout while I'm doing it/editing/updating it and when it's final, I could send you the txt file with the entire code for the layout as well as how to implement it on your own journal.

But as I said, I definitely can't make any promises time-wise.

Oh, there's definitely no rush. I'm a slow-paced gal myself. My current layout ain't going anywhere.

I'm thinking blue tones for colour and a Norwegian landscape with the sea, maybe with some small images of various interests fused into (a little CSI, possibly). I could find some various pictures you could pick between, whatever you liked. I don't have taht much an eye for what will look great.

I see other people have volunteered as well so I'm not sure if you still want moi. I'm definitely up for doing it if you want something like ignited's layout. Anyway, my email's chlorofluorocarbon@ gmail.com, and if you could find pics that you like that would be an immense help if you still want me to do it - but as I said - it would take me some time, a few weeks most likely.
