Yet another WIP and random facts a'plenty
Sep. 10th, 2005 04:10 amEeek. Started yet another WIP, this time a CWR story done one request. Sorrow's Change, found here (CSI Forensics) or here (ff.net).
Am also fiddling with another request, a character death piece. Angst a'plenty. And I'm determined to finally use the word "dirge" in a title.
I forget who tagged me, but anyway...

Twenty random facts about Camilla
1. When I was three, I almost drowned in the bathtub
2. Due to 1, I have a weird and irrational fear of sticking my head under water. (Water in itself I'm not afraid of.)
3. In the first years of my life, I was a blonde.
4. When my brother was born, I threw a tantrum when I couldn't also stay at the hospital with mum.
5. I've had cats my whole life, except for when I lived in Australia and had a carpet python living under my stairs.
6. The first 'ship I ever had - before those things were even known as a 'ship - was Rita and Chris from Silk Stalkings
7. I used to tell elaborate stories to my brother that I made up, one of which was that I'd climbed Ishavskatedralen (we lived two houses down from it)
8. I went to Sunday school when I was six, for no particular other reason than having friends who did the same
9. I was addicted to the Gummi Bears and had books about them. (I wanted to be the princess.)
10. I played He-Man with the boys and we made elaborate snow castles during winter for the action figures.
11. I have three tattoos, none of which I've gotten in Norway.
12. My first trip alone abroad was to France.
13. I've been to two sci-fi cons in my life, both for Babylon 5.
14. On one said con, I met most of the cast - bumped into Mira Furlan in the bathroom, flirted lightly with Jason Carter and got a hug from Bruce Boxleitner.
15. I was once stranded in a hotel near Heathrow for a day and was so bored I watched a whole cricket match on telly and therefore know the rules.
16. I once did it on a race track.
17. On a trip with work colleagues on the "Dane ferry", I brought a camere and later mysteriously discovered a picture of my boss's ass among the other snapshots.
18. The first DVD I ever bought was "Kiss the Girls".
19. Last book I read was Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams (sniff).
20. Current DVD I lust is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
That took me seven minutes, with googling for a pic of Ishavskatedralen. I tag at random:

Maybe I can find it on the web...
Ah, you've seen that movie too? Me likes Morgan Freeman, me does.
I can't really explain to you how to pronounce it, but the name translates to "The Ice Sea Catherdral".

Date: 2005-09-09 08:24 pm (UTC)I love Kiss the Girls. Me likes Cary Elwes, me does. Or Robin Hood, as I insist on calling him. Forever and always.
See, that's much easier to say :P

And of course, he was in Princess Bride.

Date: 2005-09-10 05:31 am (UTC)I wasn't. Of course, that's mostly because, by the time Gummi Bears came out, I'd already pretty much moved past my PrincessSparklePony stage. I'd traded in Care Bears and Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake obsessions for Transformers and He-Man. I was a bit of a tomboy, growing up.
