So, some of the Cath/Grissom fans have started an Anti-GSR petition - and some of the GSR fans are of course not so amused and leave signatures on it. Among them are the one and only Babydoll, who some of you will know from past features. (See here, here or here.) Of course, she doesn't as much leave a sig as she leaves a thesis.

So nice to see the shipwars of CSI have not died out yet, isn't it? Some of the comments are fair enough, and some of them will make your eyes roll by a will of their own to the tune of "Let's get rabid, yeah, yeah".

I really don't get this aspect of fandom. Who freakin' cares about other people's ships? Why does this matter to anyone? It's fiction, for crying out loud. It's like religious crusades. I just don't get it.

LOL I laughed when I first heard of that petition. Guess not all of us C/G shippers are mature enough not to start something like that. Some so-called "Grisllows" (I never liked that name) are even trying to pass it to other shippers like YoBlingers/Snickers/Sandles. Well the latter two I can understand, but YoBlingers? Amusing to find out they don't know about the fact that a lot of YoBlingers also ship G/S.

As for that girl, *pats you* shit happens LOL. You see, there are quite a few C/Gers whose heads I always want to rip off.

One should not have to scroll for five minutes to get through the comments on one petition signature.

Apparently, babydoll learned nothing from all the constructive criticism she received after posting that last letter she wrote. I think she took excerpts from the letter (thank god not the whole thing, or I would still be scrolling) and copy/pasted them into the comments, since they read almost exactly the same. Again, I do like that she claims to speak for millions of fans, because she certainly doesn't speak for me. I could never be that rabid/crazy.

I am all for the orgies. And I think that it would be just dandy if Sara hooked up with Hodges, Cath did the "Stacy's Mom" thing and went out with Greg, and Grissom moved into Lady Heather's domain permanently, giving up his Crime Lab job for a career as an assistant dominator.
