I love the German words they have chosen as examples, especially Kummerspeck and beleidigte Leberwurst. And speaking of German words, is it true that there's a (German-derived) term called vorspiel in Norwegian? Or was it nachspiel? And what exactly does it mean? I think I read it in another online article about loan words in various European languages, but I can't remember this exactly right now.

We have both vorspiel and nachspiel, though the latter is more common. A vorspeil is a little gathering to warm-up drink before a party, going out, whatever. Nachspiel is a gathering to drink afterwards.
