Christopher Eccleston, Mmm. I know where that season is all still uploaded somewhere, and could get the URL for you if you want the rest? :)

Also, Hazeleyes571 wrote one Doctor/Rose fic I remember. I always liked her CSI stuff, so you might try that. You'll have to search ff.net though as my school block it, lovely they are.

*conspiratorial whisper*

Do you mean that there is the whole season of the Ninth Doctor uploaded to this directory? And that one can download it quite simply, albeit most probably illegaly?

I think I love you.

Ah, the Eccleston. time_and_chips is a good lj comm, but it may have spoilers. Um..'A Teaspoon And An Open Mind' is a Dr. Who fic archive..oh yes, Jillybean is a good Rose/Ninth fic author.

Worship Mr Eccleston, for he too, is a Mancunian. -giggle- Daleks are cute. My cousin dressed as a dalek for a fancy dress party. ^_^ You can get the DVDs over here... you could probably get them off Amazon or somewhere. :o)

Drooling over things is no bad thing, as long as you have a mop incase the puddle turns into a pool.

Yup, gotta love the Daleks. And I recommend Jillybean's early work - the later stuff got a bit odd, but the older stuff is very good.

You think the first episode is good? Just wait! It just gets better and better... and then even BETTER! There is Daleks too! (Will not say more because I don't want to spoil anything for you, but suffice to say you will be a very happy Miss Cam once you've seen more).

*does the Happy Doctor Dance of WOOT!*

Real shame Ecclestone chose not to stay on - he's a cracking Doctor, one of the best for a long while (and I grew up with the best of the lot: Tom Baker... though some would argue just as hard for Jon Pertwee but he was a little before my time). Still, I think the new boy should make a good 'un too judging by the snippet we had of him at the end of the last episode.

Oooh...! *is so excited now* I demand updates of your opinion of every episode as you see them! :D

I am sadly already spoiled by some British friends who chatted excitedly about it back when it aired there. I know tehre are Daleks, even invading Daleks. Whee!

I know, I wub him. I want him to stay even though he's already left. But I'll give the new guy a chance. He might be good in different ways.

Heh, glad to have someone to discuss it with?

I think what I liked with the first ep was just the charm of it. Living plastic and cheesy bits and weird plots, but you have to love it. It's just charming.

From: [identity profile] boz4pm.livejournal.com
Ack! So you know nearly all. I won't ask how much they told you in the vain hope they haven't let slip the two most interesting/bizarre/fantabulous aspects of that and a previous Dalek episode (YES! There are two! And one is a two-parter! Hurrah!)

Ecclestone is/was fab. Really, really good. Blew me away, in fact. Some think he looks a bit too dapper in his costume with the leather jacket and all, which I think I agree with, but in terms of character he's exactly right: other-worldly and just a little bit odd. It's spot on. David Tennant looks like he's going to be very good too. Suffice to say he gets all of two lines or so and about as many minutes of airtime at the end of the last episode and they give him a cracking line. He pauses, considers while rolling his tongue round his mouth and then says, "Hmm... New teeth." *rofl*

There is a lot of comedy moments in it all - part of its 'charm', I guess, like the burping wheelie bin in the episode you've seen. It's all just... *explodes into little itty pieces at the splendour of it all and her complete inability to express it*

Oh, and it's also given me a new lust object. *points at icon* Captain Jack. My one ranting point is I missed the episode where he got nekkid! *foams at mouth and thrashes about in fury* Ahhh... you have so much to look forward to. *bounces*

So, yes, I liked it muchly. Can you tell at all? ;P *snigger*

Sorry. Will calm down now. Promise.

The Dalek God? I know of him. And there's some link with them being half human or whatever. I've heard of the Daleks. Gimme Daleks.

Mmm. He looks kinda... Daft at times, but that's just part of the charm. And he has charm. Oozes of it. And accent. Mmm, accent.

Regeneration humour, eh? So much goodness to get, yes.

People get nekkid too? Better and better and better. I may love this show a lot a lot. Might earn a spot in my favourites of all times. So hard to resist all the British shows, really.

Hehehe. It's okay. I'm hooked too. Let's have an insane chat about it some day. It's good not to be alone.

Ah, yes, the Dalek God. Thus you have not just evil Daleks, but insane evil Daleks which just kicks butt majorly IMHO. There is also the one-off Dalek episode which is fantastic too.

Yes, chatting is good. I will no doubt be splurging all over any and all posts you post about episodes as and when. Much goodness ahead. Not only for gorgeous guys, comedy one-liners, superb stories, but even just little things - such as the fact that Billie Piper is not the 'assistant floozie bimbo' but actually has character, depth and is given background. Ai, I so can't wait for the end of year specials and then the new series (which they've started filming already).

The lone Dalek. And I hear they fly, too. No more stuck at stairs.

Yeah, I figured her saving the Doctor in the first part was a good sign. V. good sign. And I hear whisperings about hinted at OT3 and much hand holding. This pleases me. They're just adoreable. Much adorableness.

I shall no doubt look forward to the new series myself when I finish this one. Mmm, Whoness.

Ah, now, you see, I can report that Daleks have levitated before now. I am fortunate enough to have a complete Who nerd-nut on an LOTR message-board I frequent regularly and. I started a thread when this new Doctor started and it's been mainly us two keeping it going, but he's a mine of information. And not just because he knows his Doctor Who stuff inside out, but also because he seems to know a bit about the arts and gets advance information on some things from the old TV rumour mill (he's a reviewer for an online TV & film site amongst many things). Anyway, he posted on there about Daleks having levitated at least once before - I think in a Tom Baker episode, but I could be misremembering.

If you are interested this is the thread (I am 'Nenya' on there, btw). There are spoilers, since it's us commenting episode by episode on what we thought (us and others). It's quite interesting, though. :)

Yes he does! He's pretty big (or at least, of a relatively decent size) on Broadway. I can dig through my collection and upload some Captain Jack John Barrowman for you, if you'd like.

I don't have any fiction links for ya.

But the series does rock. (I've got the 3 first dVD's, and am getting the 4th soon.)
