No wonder we all get so involved in our little distractions. It keeps us from screaming too much when the world sucks.

Speaking of little distractions... I'm vaguely writing Doctor Who fic. This is so not good. I feel myself wandering towards a new little obsession. Whoops. And I have so many CSI projects running and now I wanna write the delicious Doctor instead. And almost-Canon threesome. And Daleks.

Did I mention I'm fickle and get distracted by new shinies?

I need Doctor Who chat friends. And more pretties. And the DVD set when it comes out.

Is this 9th Doctor you are raving about? If so, I completely agree. The man is... lovely. The ears!

And binx_349 is great. Not only does she have a screen name taken from one of my favourite films when I was a kid, but she has also introduced me to the internets, LJ and most recently Veronica Mars.

I saw "Dr. Who" once on BBC Prime - one of the older doctors - and I was just confused and bored, sure it was a multi-parter storyline and I came in rather late, but still.

I'm sure I could give the series a chance - I do like the music, I don't know if it is the end or theme song - my kind of sci-fi though is "Red Dwarf", "Star Trek" and "Babylon 5" type series.

I've seen... Four eps, "The Doctor Dances" included. I'm downloading them, so unfortunately they've been a bit out of turn. I was spoiled anyway, so not as big a deal. I shall get myself the full DVD set and watch it from beginning to end eventually though.

Not all of the old Doctors were that great. Was a period where teh show was kinda crap, from what I understand.

But this new one, I do like. And I am also a Red Dwarf and Babylon 5 gal, with some Star Trek on the side.

Is the DVD not already out? I thought I had seen it on Amazon or the BBC Shop online or some such. *looks shifty* I could have been dreaming, though, it's always possible...

And if you think Ecclestone is droolworthy, then I'm sorry but Captain Jack will blow your socks off! :D I know Ecclestone from too many other TV things to find him sexy, though he was/is a very charming Doctor (and the best one in an age).

There is talk that K-9 will be back in the new series (with David Tennant as the new Doctor! Which is fantabulous news! I remember K-9 from the first time round - he was the robot companion to Tom Baker's Doctor.

They're out in two episode sets, I think. But a full season is due in November, with extras and all that. Mmm.

And I have seen Jack and I prefer the Doctor. Haven't seen the actor in anything else, really, so he does just fine as delicious Doctor, thank ye.

Saw the link, haven't really had time to read much of it, though. I've been writing fic. Shall now post. Very exciting.

I never saw K-9, but ought to be fun.

Oooh, so you've seen quite a few then! Any fave moments so far? The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances got several people creeped out... *speaks in strange childlike monotone* 'Are you my mummy?' Ack! Gah! Get away! *snigger* Ah, well you have indeed met Jack the Lad in that case. I suppose I just have a thing for dreamy looking Yanks in uniform. ;P I will happily admit Ecclestone is easily the sexiest Doctor so far (if not the only sexy Doctor ever).

Favourite moment... Boy, that's tricky. But I think it has to "I can dance! I can dance!" and that whole scene. I was smirking like crazy. And Jack didn't look bad in it, I just place the Doctor above him.
