Ah, CSI fandom... It's made me meet some great friends and all, but I getting a bit fed up with certain things. For instance, the smugness of some GSR people over certain spoilers, the 'ohNOES! the world is ending!' attitude of some GCR people and the whole sodding 'my ship is more TRUWUB than yours!' attidtude of some people in almost any ship.

Kindly knock it off before you make me knock myself off CSI fandom. Seriously, when people in a ship I'm fond of make me dread it come to pass, it cannot be good.

Maybe it's good I have something new to love. It'll take some of my attention away and I can be less annoyed.

Well, the spoilers are a bit up in the air, so we'll see. I like GSR and is still getting annoyed with some of the attitude of late. You'd think it was a real war.

Oh no, I understand. There are whiners in every category. I just meant that SOME of the GSR people (like some of the GCR people and etc.) were being scary-obsessed (like putting forks into Sofia's head... yeah, that's scary) and I'd hate to see them get what they want. Heh. But otherwise I couldn't care less who gets together on the show, I just watch it to drool at the people. ;)

BUT WE WIN OMG. Hee! Well, I can understand why, after the entire internet fandom saying we're all delusional/in denial, people are smug about the G/S spoilers. Hell, I am. But that's because I accidentally read some board once where people were cheering for Jorja to die. So yes, I'm damn smug right now, just the fact that it was written.

But this only applies to some GSRers. There are very lovely people about too.

I'm just posting this so I can use this icon and be a twit. I still haven't made an LJ useable every'ship icon, and I have a GSR one waiting in the wings.

I am glad I'm sorta on the fringes of CSI fandom lately...ya, I 'ship the Geeklove, and I understand why Geeklovers wold be jumping for joy from what I've heard. Kinda understand why for the smugness, too. But I guess I haven't encountered the really annoying parts that might drive me off the fandom.

GSR people are definitely starting to grate on my nerves. I want to be able to enjoy the show without some of their unneccessary behaviour. I think a lot of us are starting to drift towards other fandoms, unfortunately.

I know it is sad. To be honest I just can't summon up the passion to write about the show anymore :( I'm glad some people are sticking on through, (you included, so good on you for that), but personally it's lost a lot of appeal for me. I wish it wasn't so.

Yeah. I'm heading your way, I fear. In a week, I've written five Doctor Who fics and one CSI chapter. The signs are not kind to CSI, to put it that way.
