Meanwhile, I've finished The Passing of Seasons with Winter. Ff.net / CSI Forensics / Geekfiction.

I have a hunch this might be one of the last CSI fics I write for a while. Doctor Who has claimed my heart forthe time being. But of course, my muse is fickle, so I can never say anything for certain about it. We shall see.

The feedback I've gotten for the fic has been decidedly lovely, so thank you all. Whatever comes, CSI fandom and fanfic has given me a lovely time and many great people. For this, there shall forever be love.

Meanwhile, if I were to say - want to upload an episode of a certain recent addiction to share - what's a good website? Yousendit is being a bit of a pain. Suggestions are welcomed with chocolate.

Permission to use an idea

Umm...well, hello. I'm a newcomer to PPC board (I go as 'Err...')and fanfiction writing, and I just want to ask if I could use an idea from your OFUM and create a Mini-Balrog for a story I'm writing (and posting up at the PPC board).

The story in question is called 'Teh Ultimate Mary-Sue (Parody)!', and is about certain canon characters (Legolas, Pippin, Gimli and a few more) developing a resistance against a Mary-Sue. This 'Sue may seem like an average cliche, but she is having a strange effect on canon. They team up with an OC (who happens to think this is all a dream) and attempt to kill the Mary-Sue.

But anyway, I'm straying from the real reason I'm writing this. The 'Sue happens to read OFUM and creates her own warped verison of a Mini-Balrog (named Middle-Erth, known as simple Erth), and I wanted to be sure I got your permission before I even thought of writing it.

So...please reply as soon as possible. Thank you for reading this:)
