He's kissed her before - no, he'll kiss her later in that timeline, kiss the time vortex away from her and life back, but this is different, this is all her. Was, he reminds himself. Was. History, past events. He's just remembering it, but it is at the same time happening so close to him he could walk over and kiss her neck while the other him kisses her lips.

He feels his mouth go slightly dry at that.

Yeah, I am slightly amused that once again, I've been perfectly oblivious to people I know having a disagreement. I seem to manage to miss them over and over again until they pop up at a wank board or someone tells me years later. Clearly, I have great skills in obliviousness. This amuses me. And I tend to snark about most things, unless you've missed it. (Your flist is certainly huge enough, so you might not read mine too much, for all I know. Especially since I tend to ramble on about Doctor Who of late.)

It seems that some poeple found it distasteful that I wasn't happy sparkly ginmar. They didn't want to read me any longer, but they didn't tell me this, thus ensuring that they had continued access to my locked posts. The wank you linked to featured people getting none of that.

I actually know a guy who thinks like that... He was my flatmate for a while.
The truely shocking part was that he admitted during the talk were I founnd that out that there'd been times when I'd used him for the "this doesn't show too much, does it?" pre-party sounding board that he'd lied... that he liked being able to look. This was *also* after he'd said "Dressed like that, what does she expect?" after we heard about a student at the university being raped. Yes, his exact words.

The sad thing is that I, too, know several people (including members of my own family) whom I would, in many other respects, describe as friendly and commonsensical, but who tend to think about rape victims like the 33% mentioned in the BBC article. And I just don't understand how the fuck they are able to make logic go BOOM! like this...

Okay then. You're not the only one dealing with shit, you know. I generally prefer to deal with things by slight detatchment through humour - about most things, really. If this bugs you, I'm sorry, but that's how I've always been.
