The 75 Worst Lines in the Caribbean.

Contains such gems as:

Mr. Gibbs began to sod uncontrollably.

"There is so much mystery berried within you."

He gave her an evil grin, then picked her up and went to the back of the cave, where he rapped her!

I'm thinking of doing something similar for some of my fandoms now. I already have a contender for a bad title place - "Your running through my viens", another thrilling tale of Grissom and Sara and their out-of-character adventures, yay! You spotted any amusing misspellings or grammatic hiccups from fanfics in CSI, LotR, HP or Doctor Who fandom? Do share!

One of my eternal loves - Long Table Elrond:
When we got to the Long Table Elrond, Galadriel and the rest of the table stood up to welcome me, a new Elf, into their midst. "Lady Beth" Galadriel said as she pulled me into an embrace "it is so good to see you up"

I forgot to tell you! I saw an episode of Doctor Who with the shiny Ninth Doctor (at a Doctor Who/Stargate convention). The episode featured Charles Dickens. I'm sure, in your infinite fandom wisdom, know which episode I am talking about. Since I did not know there was a new 10th Doctor (who plays Barty Crouch, Jr. in the new HP movie), I unwittingly told the Doctor Who fans that the Doctor was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I'm so not in the loop.
As I was saying:
The episode was great! I'm hooked. I want more! But I can't get more. *is BBC-deprived* No one told me Doctor Who would be so addicting. I think a side-effect of my withdrawal is babbling. Please excuse me. *drools over Ninth*

I do. Episode three, "The Unquiet Dead".

*pats* It is shiny and addictive, I know. Which is why the BBC less tend to download, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, etc. It's definitely worth watching more of. And it is out on DVD, series one.

Nine is droolworthy indeed.

I so know what I want for Christmas. It will have to do until we build a Stargate that has working, moving parts.

By the way, I love your icon.

Oh, thank you for the link! It is most diverting for a Saturday night -- I can't even decide what my favourite badfic lines are...

"Hoist anchor on the starburst side!", however, is definitely a contender for the "I think you need some navigation vocab lessons!" award, as sponsored by Inigo Montoya.

But it doesn't quite beat the "uncontrollable sodding".

*is twelve*

And nice grin, Mr Eccleston. :)

I know. I'm twelve too. The mental image is just too fab. I shall probably start declaring my urge to uncontrollably sod in conversations from now on.

He's got a lovely grin. Mmm-mmm.

Thank you for that. I needed to remember why I love hate badfic so much.

Those lines are just to horrible, I couldn't even read through them all, I was afraid my brain was going to implode.

*falls off chair laughing* Sunday morning entertainment!

Jack caught a glimpse of her eyes before she closed them. They were of a sea blue or should he say sky blue since the ocean was so clearly green. Real romantic mood, there...

“Drink up me hardies yo ho” *eyebrow* *grin*

Norrineton yelled out "Fine Will" and returned to his quarters. So Will's parked his cart in a standing-only zone or something?

I especially love the exclamation mark at the end of the "rapped her" part. It just adds oh so much. XD

I know what you mean. All those blinged-out Yoof Ov Da Streetz machine-gunning lyrics at you over a bass-heavy soundtrack - it could be quite disconcerting.

"Oh no! Drive-by Rapping!"
