Missing 84-year-old Polish grandfather found at Heathrow looking for a new life

Mr Zon, from the small central town of Znin, spent years saving from his 600-zloty ($186; £105) monthly pension to raise $3,000 for the trip, he said.
"Granddad had never travelled farther than the neighbouring village," granddaughter, Malgorzata Kocinska, told the paper.
Mr Zon knows no-one in Britain and cannot speak English, but his experience has not dented his enthusiasm for the country.
"In my long lifetime, no-one had ever been as polite to me as the English, and who knows if I won't return," he said.

I'm torn between feeling a bit sad and quite touched at this story. Imagine trying to find a better life for yourself at 84, saving up quietly for a chance to it... And go English, being polite.

Uh, yeah, given what I've seen of his judgment, and the fact that he's hardly the only one accepting the consequences (or anything even like the worst consequences), THAT makes me feel better. Now excuse me--he makes my peristalsis want to work backwards.

Awww... The little prince is so squee worthy.
Ooh Bushs speech last night... Cut in on my sunday night cartoons... It was on every channel! So, I watched a few minutes of it, felt like throwing up, then I managed to find a chanel it wasnt on.
And I guess this morning he made another, or they were doing a follow up, and it cut out the Today show... I was pissed
