I'm hearing ya there, I get that a lot with my Hillbilly Love obsession. Everytime there's a YoBling scene, or Cath's with another guy, or Nick's flirting with Sara my heart breaks, and it's ridiculous, they're fictional characters, soon to be non-existant to our screens anyway, I gotta make the most of the last couple of seasons and the talent that's put into it, not the shippiness!

*squints* Is that... logic from babydoll? *Babydoll*, she of tinhat logic and 'Catherine/Warrick is like incest, omg'? I suddently have hope for fandom after all!

In other news, it's official. I am a sad fangirl, as I have ordered myself the new DW books and a little wee Ten in his suit. He's just so wee and Ten and stuff.

Oh, shut up. This is what happens when I get three months pay at once and know I got some compensation due soon. (Gotta love the "oh, we're sorry your life got fucked with, so here's some money!" of it all. Of course, it's really the only thing that can be offered, so I shouldn't knock it, it's just... I'm not exactly gonna get over it from money, even if I can buy shinies with it, now am I?)

Review I got for DW fic that amused me:
Loved it! Fics that are truly romantic are too few and far between when it comes to this show. I'm glad to see the SOMEONE can tell the difference between romance and senseless smut.

But I write the senseless smut like whoa! (Heck, wendymr is trying to bug me into writing another Ten/Rose/Nine, the fiend.) I have no sense of shame!

Incidentally, does it bug anyone else when the author clearly dumps her morality all over a fic? Like having Character Hot and Character Beautiful decide not to shag until they get married when Canon hasn't showed them to be the type at all? Because it does me, and a great deal. Let characters have their Canon morals, not yours, kthxbai.

The pros for Cath/Brass far outweigh those of Cath/Warrick - there's the whole Lindsey/Ellie parallel, and oh, Brass not being married, nor had the nooky for a while. The main pro being, of course, the lack of bizarre ship nickname. (Although - Crass? Too easy. Brath?)

Liz is just biding her time until they are available in shops here. Then I have a feeling I'll be finding my Harley Quinn action figures in bizarre poses with Mr. Ten...
