A wee tale of plagiarism in CSI fandom yesterday

Though if you ask me, something's way off about that whole thing. I sense trouble in my bitter, jaded fandom bones. Also? Don't plagiarise, twats.

Oh, in case you missed it, velocityofsound started up ytdaw, a rather unofficial comm for members of Your Tax Dollars at Work, as the boards tend to go down quite a bit and people get all restless. Join, yes? I'm a maintainer because Kay luuuuuuvs me, so you should come and hang with me.

Story that did amuse me - US navy hired a Swedish submarine last year to play cat and mouse. Now it's been a year and the Americans haven't found it, so the agreement is likely to be extended for another year for more hunting. Go Swedes!

And for today's meme - your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is find something Cam can get right pissy about - or right pleased about - that she wasn't already aware of it. Bush is cheating.
