A rather unique suggestion:
Maybe we will find out Grissom is really Lindsey's father as a result of the car accident. That will make jaws drop.. especially all the GSR's.

The finale will have nothing, apparently:
stop kidding yourselves, there is nothing happening. you saw this same kind of crap on nesting dolls, blood lines, and countless others. I adore sara, and greg, and they should seriously be together. That ******* they have to call a boss needs to dissappear.

Sara is about as sexy as a telephone pole. I have nothing against telephone poles, I'm sure there can be more to them than meets the eye, but I think Grissom would want something more and besides who likes splinters?

I think the writers are going to surprise everyone with a pairing nobody expects. They've planted hints and clues all season, but in the season finale we'll finally get...(dun dun dun) Grissom and Hodges declaring their love for each other, cause theirloveissotrue.

I think the new pairing should be called Grodges. Or maybe Hissom. I haven't decided yet. But Grissom/Hodges will become canon and then everyone will explode in a giant explosion of wank :-)

As far as the Wankiest Wankimplosion ever? Definitely the attempted rape of Buffy by Spike in S6 of BtVS. Tears were shed, friendships destroyed, journals deleted and a mini-exodus from fandom by several BNFs occurred. I kept my head down and ate a lot of Doritos.

Here via... I'm not actually sure really. But I ended up here a while ago, and have been reading on and off ever since, and had to pipe up to say I think I recognise that crazy N/S shipper. At least, I hope desperately that there are not two people on the N/S side of the fandom with that terrible grip on both reality and the English language. She was posting on one of the Yahoo lists more than a year ago, telling us that YTDAW makes up their spoilers and that everyone at CSIfiles (possibly meaning TalkCSI?) hated her because she shipped Nick/Sara, and generally bombarding us with crackpot theories. When I picked a fight asked for evidence she threw a tantrum and left the list, declaring that everyone who didn't believe her was a G/S shipper in disguise.

I was hoping she'd gone for good, although I will admit to missing the moments of WTF-ness every time she posted to the list. I think I might just go hide under a rock and pretend we don't ship the same thing.

Also, yay for CSI wank. I'm far enough out of the fandom now that I can sit in the corner and laugh.
