So, in other-flailing news, the CSI finale has aired and reactions are trickling in.

Campaigns are launched:
What we need everyone to do is get a surgical mask. If you don't have access to one, try your local hospital... they might be able to giveyou one. On the front of the mask write "GSR Kills" and on the backwrite "I'm switching to Grey's Anatomy". Then mail the mask to CBS.

SaraSidleStrokes has much to say:
Yeah I know like I said I'd be okay either way as long as theres no GSR which I'm not afraid of at all TPTB wouldnt be that dumb
Okay you know what ticks me off is how GSRs claim "butterflies" as thier mascot WHY they NEVER once used that
I can get things like the tape cause of the "tape me up scene" or for Sandle "Showers" because of that scene in 4x4 but BUTTERFLIES lets be realistic people BUTTERFLIES belong to GCR
and Winnie the Pooh and Charlie Brown those are things Sara and Just Grissom Like JUST cause they are in the same scene together DOES NOT mean they can use those as Mascots
FUNNY THING though one Snicker girl Made a Snicker Mascot and put it in the "Ship Mascot" Thread the GSRS accused us of Cheating all I gotta say is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH cry me a river

personally II think its because all the GSR fans with no lives mailing and saying ITS THE MOST POPULAR SHIP and thats why they did it

one of my Friends TRIED TO GET ME TO and she said something that I GUESS could make sense BUT I DOUBT it will go that way
anyways she said that she thinks that maybe the "fantasy" line in TOYD was a forshadowing and THIS IS ALL A DREAM on either Grissom or Sara's part (If this is the case my vote would go for Grissoms)
I DOUBT THATS THE CASE but I HOPE IT IS
I ALSO HOPE the other half of the spoiler that says in the Premier they "break up" Is true because if they END THIS SHOW WITH GSR I'LL BE SO MAD

Uckie is traded:
The Catherine/Gil friendship is one of the greatest relationships on tv; now it's been given the backseat to the Sara/Grissom uckie hour.

Sickness occurs:
i feel physically sick!!! YUCK!!! MAN TPTB ARE SO EFFING STUPID!!! this makes NO sense at all!!!! ARGH!!!
i'm thinking that when gris leaves sara will realise that he like used her and stuff. and i actually want when nick finds out to be dissapointed in her for crawling back to gris after she had come so far, spesh when she knew he was leaving and most likely using her. and i want him to tell her that and then she will realise her mistake and stuff.

More campaigns are launched:
Seriously, all the ships that didn't like the finale (hmm the'scene') should come together and stop watching CSI. I'd rather have no couples get together instead of what did happen.

Gil Grissom is missed:
The CSI writers are guilty of character assassination. Who WAS that man in the final scene? I didn't recognize him. He looked like Grissom, minus the integrity, honesty and ethics. Who WAS that man who wants to get cancer so he can sit around and reflect on life? And what a cruel, cruel line that was; what a slap in the face to the millions of people suffering with cancer who would give anything for a few more years or weeks? The insensitivity of that line just blew me away, and Billy Petersen, who has spoken to cancer survivors and has a sister who had cancer, speaking it willingly? Guess what? There's another way to die slowly and it's called aging.

Viewers are scared:
You know you're gonna be up at against one of TV's highest rated shows next year and you scare off many of your loyal viewers with this GSR crap?!
Brilliant, Zuiker. Really fucking brilliant.

Not all GSRers are happy:
Yeah...Grissom and Sara are together. No kiss?? No nothing.....that was the most anticlimatic scene I've ever seen. Everyone I've talked to about the ending thought it was lame as hell too. If I were the actors I'd be embarassed to be on this show anymore. This season has been like watching a fucking train wreck.

Many GSRers are very happy:
There is a Canon party going on and EVERYONE is invited!!! loud music, wild dancing, lets celebrate people, we have waited a long time for this, lets do a little dance make a little love and get down tonight!
VIVA LA GSR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LONG LIVE THE STRAW HAT!!!

Did anybody else find it really cool that the other two cast members interviewed about the relationship were Marg and George? I mean the Gil/Cath shippers and the Nick/Sara shippers are probably the most vocally opposed to the GSR, so it's kind of nice to see those two actors on board the SS Geek Love(...)
That's probably why they did it.

I think he and I are two of the biggest Who fans at the station, but he's seen the new Who on Sci-Fi, so he's still one up on me for that. Since I'm not having to do the switching tonight, I just may have to find an excuse to wander down to his office later...

And he and I both want us to run the old Who episodes if BBC will offer the rights to PBS affiliates again, but so far he's not found any notices that indicate that's happening. But we're still hoping!
