Actually, you, my dear, are on my flist because of everything you did for me. I was but a sad, depressed freshman in high school when I stumbled by the Board, and whether you meant to or not, you took me under you wing. You offered sympathy, hugs, and Permission. You graced me with my wonderful mini-Balrog, Bilvo. You had faith in me when I thought everyone was going to hate me. Now, I've met some of the nicest people in the world through the Board, and consider them close friends. And really, without your help, I don't know if I could have done it. I can't thank you enough for what you've done for me.

In a nutshell, you are on my friends list because I don't think I could stand the idea of not keeping up with how you're doing. In some strange way, your clever newsposts and fandom wank on my friends page keeps me thinking that there are still people out there helping the little guy.
