Oh look, a wee plagiarist - stealing from this fic by my darling lotus79. Dude, do not rip off my bestest friend here on the web. It amuses me not. I'm feeling an urge to just e-mail this person and rip her a new one.

There are days I get annoyed at fandom and annoyed at myself for the stuff I do in it, and today is one. Sigh. Ever had a desire to bitch at everyone and therefore be a bitch? Start fights just to get some aggression out? Give your fucking honest opinion about someone even knowing how unwise it is? Go back to old fights and refresh them? Go after someone you know doesn't like you and provoke an attack?

And Cam - warn a girl! I think I just lost 30 IQ points clicking on that link to the plagiarist's story. Then I made the mistake of looking at the comments. I thought "nah, no way she's gonna get positive feedback on such an obviously plagiarized story". *headdesk* The grammar! The spelling! The CAPITALIZATION! They are crying for mercy!

Every...damned...day.... but that comes a lot from working technical support for four years.

I played World of Warcraft for a while.... until that added to that feeling. And plagiarsts make me want to strangle them. Like the people who say it's no biggie to steal a photo from someone's site. I do photogrpahy for profit, and stealing my images is taking something away from me. Just like if I ever get this stupid novel published, copying it takes away from me and my hard work. Someone had to think of those ideas and stealing them is beyond just being lazy and an asshat... it leaves me without words.

Oh, yes. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and regretted it deeply. Even if I did feel that I was the one provoked, not the provoker. Take it from me: it's not worth it.

Venting's great, but do it privately - or, as someone else suggested, write it into a fic. :)

As for that plagiariser, what astounds me is that she actually came back to the Teaspoon and registered a second time. She's taken down the Fizzwizz story from her ff.net account, but lotus79's story is still there :P Still, there are several reviews now pointing out the error of her ways. Little thief. Scum of the internet, plagiarisers. :P
