Spoiler for season three and companion status

Iiiiinteresting. I must be less a rabid OTP shipper than I thought, for my first thought was 'they look kinda good together'. Ah, fickle, shallow me, even as I'm feeling sad about the loss of Rose.

Be curious to see how they introduce her and what sort of new character she plays, really. 'Martha' - not too sure about the name, though... Guess we'll see.

Germany - Italy today. Go Germany! Crush them Italians! And tomorrow, I think I shall cheer France, as Portugal has not really impressed me and France did against Brazil.

Heh. I was thinking along those very same lines.

And I, too, find it a bit strange that they chose an actress for the new companion who appears in a different role during the season finale. Maybe that's one of the reasons why they only let her appear in season 3 proper.

Well, I'm curious as to what sort of person Martha Jones will turn out to be (I'm hoping for someone older and more serious than Rose), but I must admit that I'm still more curious as to the nature of Rose's departure at the moment.

Yeah, I kind of feel the same way you do. I'm very sad to lose Rose. I really do like her, even if I don't always "like" her. I'm excited about Martha though. More excited than I really expected to be!

I hope they send Rose out with some guts though, and don't just pussyfoot around her leaving to amke it wasy for the character to come back. Ahem, that's a whole other post. :))

I'm not really sure if I that sorry to see Rose leave. In the first season she was great, but now I'm not so sure anymore. It could be the fact that her character was much more suited for nine and not so much ten.

Still it is always sad to see a character leave although I don't get to see it until much much later. I hate having to wait for the bloody DVD.
