Too... hot... brain... overheating... *fizz* I am Norwegian, I am not made for strong heatwaves. I am made for wrapping myself in layers and layers of clothes and cursing as I shovel snow, and look pale during decently warm summers.
I want a pool andDavid Tennant aspool-boy. Yes. Make it so?
Shut up, I can have delusions ofgroingrandeur.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:05 pm (UTC)That sounds like me, except substitute Canadian for Norwegian. The heat we get here in the summer makes me sick. I can't handle the heat - I can handle the cold weather during the winter - albeit with cursing and swearing and wishing for summer to be back, but it's bearable. Cold weather you can dress for, hot as hell weather - well, there are limits as to what you can take off.
And if you get that pool I'm coming for some

Date: 2006-07-06 02:20 pm (UTC)It's only 25 C out today for us, but it's been near 40-43 earlier. I'm just loving the Glasgow Winter AC here at work on those days.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:22 pm (UTC)Although come think of it, I've never met -20 weather before. Hmmm.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:27 pm (UTC)-20 is pretty damn cold, trust me.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:31 pm (UTC)Oh, I believe you entirely. I get cold enough in above-zero winters, I've got a pretty healthy respect for -20 weather.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:30 pm (UTC)It can be interesting when the temperature hits 19 or so - everyone hauls out the Himalayan gear. Much pointing and laughing ensues, hypocritically.

Date: 2006-07-06 02:38 pm (UTC)I like warm weather - as opposed to the freezing kind - but warm weather usually tends to mean 15-20 degrees and not 25-30...

43 degrees here on average during the summer... but I love it
And whenever it gets to 16-21 C, people start breaking out jackets...
And I dont think its ever reached less than 4 degrees unless it was in the middle of the night on the coldest day of winter.
But then again, its Arizona, and thats how I love it.
