All right, regular readers of this LJ knows of the Insulted Swede, aka little miss Pansy.

Now, rakshi gets a death threat from one of the tinhats, a Mr Burrows. Having heard somewhere that Burrows and Pansy might be the same person, I decide to talk to rakshi and see if the e-mail she got had any clues they were the same.

It did. A Swedish tagline. So, I post to dl_anon and people start comparing IPs. Behold!

What a silly little girl. Sillier still to have sent an e-mail to me with her *real name* in the header, so with a little effort, I tracked down her school, her mum's address&phonenumber and a short story she once won an award for. *Silly*, silly little girl. But it's handy to keep this info as an ace, should she try any shit.

And I'm a bad, bad person to feel pride in my part of bringing her down. To think I started such mayhem... *wipes away tear of pride* But seriously - making death threats ain't cool. Burn, brat, burn.

ETA: Pansy confesses And she called *me* sick! The nerve of that child!

After being openly shocked at the realisation how narrowminded and overly fanatic some 'fans' obviously can be, I can only wholeheartedly agree to everything said here in your journal...
Seems some people out there have lost track of reality utterly.
Seems that you just chose the right tinhat to poke at*g*-it was maybe for the best of all that all this got public now, so to speak.

Dammit, the one night I decide to go to sleep, and I miss everything going on at DL_anon! *sighs* So, care to give me a short summary of events? I followed most of the posts from Rakshi's posting of the threat. The flurry of posts afterwards have me completely baffled. Help?

Since I don't frequent dl_anon, I'm really not very clear on what's happening. Let's see:

1. Someone named Burrows sent rakshi a threatening e-mail
2. rakshi complains to moderator, and burrows is banned
3. Someone named Pansy asks one of Rakshi's friends for a code
4. Friend gets suspicious, and compares IP addresses on the emails
5. They match!
6. Someone posted an anonymous post earlier about burrows getting kicked out?
7. Further cross-checking reveals that the IP address is the same as in the two emails
8. The moderator of dl_anon egts under fire for supposedly covering up the whole affair, since she knew that burrows wasn't really kicked out, but was only posting under a different name

Hmmm. Did I get the bare bones of the affair? One thing I can't understand is, why did the two moderators of the pub get relieved of their positions?

P.S. I love OFUM! I'll be sure to enroll for the third year! If it's not too much to ask, could you leave a post on my LJ when you'll be open for enrollment again?

Well, there's a hell of a lot more to it than that (through the 'Burrows' sockpuppet Pansy had been harassing quite a few people and it had been going once since May, for one thing). If you want the whole story - which will take some explaining - you can always approached me on AIM (El Camita).

Well, my friend is truly deeply ashamed to be Swedish at the moment, but seriously, insanity is not a Swedish trait. We're sorry for your friend, no one should recieve such sick and disgusting messages, and as two sane Swedes we want to offer our sincerest apologies on behalf of our whole country. And maybe help you kick her around if we ever visit her region ;-)

Hey, my aunt is Swedish. I'm quite aware Swedes in general are nice, sane and have a sense of humour. We insult each other because we love ;)

In this case I think Pansy being a brat had nothing do with her Swedishness and everything to do with her bratiness.

And anyway, she apologised later.
