If you say you have an accent, then what do I have? Nice voice there :)

Good grief - did you actually call the States to do this? I looked into this a while back and it was only US numbers available. Or have they added some European ones now?

Always good to hear someone's voice though! *grins*

You sound so Norwegian! I don't hear any kind of American accent in there but you do have an extremely pleasant voice. :)

Naaah. If you use Gizmo Project, which is free, you can call their online ident and make a post. Costs nothing.

Heh. Even my slight-suffering-from-cold one.

Heh. Well, I keep being told I have by Americans I meet, but they do seem to think I'm from various states with a lot of Scandinavian decent, so there's that. It's probably my Norwegian tilt you're hearing - we raise and lower our voices very differently in Scandinavia compared to Americans. And it is fairly distinct to our region.

Thanks :)

Haha, aww, that was adorable. I love hearing other people's voices, they're always so much better sounding that mine.

Though, if it wasn't for the transcription I don't think I would have been able to follow it :x

I can hear the American in your voice, sneaking through the Norwegian.

Well done for getting gizmo to work. I'm considering using it as well, although it'd probably be for the lj as I'm on skype. I've been putting it off as I'm using UBUNTU. Although having alternative VOIP is always sensible.

Don't think about the needles too much. You're alot braver than I am donating blood.

lol, you do have a slight american accent. I would never do one of those, I tend to mumble since English is also my second language...Spanish being the first. It sounds like a big mess when I speak too fast :P

I hope you find your cat, my dog Lady use to do that...just run off to wherever she wanted, eventually she would show up scratching at the back door to be let back in.

Hee. You sound totally different to what I remember. Or else, perhaps I remember totally different to how you sound. ;)

Have to say, I didn't hear the American accent with that; I think living in Australia must've killed it a bit. I wonder if you sound a bit Australian now? I can't tell, of course, because I am Australian. Someone neutral might have to decide. ;)

Mostly now you sound like I expected you to sound the first time we chatted way back years ago before you even came to Oz. So the accent is mostly Norwegian.

What is this Gizmo thing of which you speak? I'll have to do a phone post myself eventually; I tried once, and it did not want to work, so I gave up before I ended up with a huge phone bill full of pointless calls to LJ in California.

I am doing your beta now, so I shall email it when I'm done. Then I am going to sleep. Work takes up a lot of time, don't it?

Congrats on making the voice-post thingy work. I've always been tempted to try it, but would probably just end up rambling nonsensically.

Good luck with the blood-donation. I've a life long phobia of needles, probably because I underwent a lot of medical tests when I was very young and got all freaked out cuz I didn't know what was going on.

I also tend to pass out quite easily (hence all the medical tests when I was younger), so even standard blood draws at physicals turn into half hour waits to see if I'm gonna drop. I've been reccommended not to give blood unless it's for a loved one, so as not to increase any risk of fainting--I've gotten several concussions, lacerations, and abrasions, not to mention many wounds to my pride, from fainting.

Although, considering the fact you're going to give blood this afternoon, I probably shouldn't be ranting on about losing consciousness. I'm sure you'll be fine. Enjoy the free juice and cookies! I'm a whore for free food.

You have a lovely voice, by the way. Thanks for speaking a bit of Norwegian--it was nice to hear some again, even if I don't understand a word of it. Reminded me of my family.

Have a great day yourself!

::sends some of the BEAUTIFUL New York City weather your way:: Clear skies, sunny, 74 F... :)

You have such a high voice. *startled* Of course, I'm benchmarking against my own, and on bad days I sound like a guy. XD

Also? Norwegian = lilting = pretty. Yay.
