You know I love you, Norway, but sometimes I really, really hate your autumn.

Stop having surprise downpours and making me sick with flu or cold or whatever, dammit.

Blæh. I need cheering up. Maybe chocolate. Mmm, chocolate.

*hands you chocolate and some handkerchiefs*

Seems like the entire weather of Europe is mocking us and making us ill

We must've really pissed off the weathergods.

Seriously, three times this week I've soaked all the wa to my underwear. Is it any wonder I feel like shit? BASTARDS.

No wonder at all. I guess this is the payback for the fantastic weather during the World Cup

My head hurts, this is high price we pay *feels ill*

Yeah, can't really complain much about the summer weather. And we'll probably have a freezing winter to pay for it too.

Le sigh.

True. Autumn tends to start in late September/early October in the Mediterranean, but it's already cool and rainy here.

In my neck of the US, the weather has been weird as well. We're barely climbing out of the sixties and it's the first week of September. Next week we'll be in the nineties, just wait. :) Hope you feel better, hon.

Weather seems to be weird all around. The planet is moody. Maybe even pissed off.

Thanks, heh.

I hate that we tend to have thirty years of good weather, and thirty years of bad, and the good weather died sometime in the Nineties. Silly planet. Maybe it knew Pluto would have to be booted out?

Be lucky you have rain. Adelaide has had its dryest winter ever this year. We're in for a major draught.

Oh, we had a very, very dry summer. To the point of probably having a bit of an electricity problem come winter. (We have almost all waterpower.)

Wanna know something silly? While studying for my Serbo-Croatian exam I found out the etymology for the word dalek. (Sort of.)
It means "far away". *lol* I giggled a lot. I'm far too easily amused.

As for the weather...This has been the windiest and sunniest week of whole summer. Perfect beach weather. Naturally, I've been stuck home studying 24/7. :(

Arse! Good arses are good, yes.

Heh. Well, with a Dalek, you could want it far away.

That's always the way of things, innit? I had to work large parts of it. Woe.

*hands over chocolate and spare hot water bottle*

We're freezing in the UK too - add in gale-force winds and heavy rain and it ain't much fun.

I bought ginger root and lemons this morning ready to make up my anti-sniffles drinks: finely chop about 1cm cubed of ginger, add a good squeeze of lemon and a spoonful of honey, put in a mug and add hot water - drink and chew up as much of the ginger as you can stand. It got me through last winter relatively intact so hopefully it'll work again.

Winters get down to -20 in Norway. Everyone tends to get sick at least once, really. But some wisely look after themselves more than others, heh.

Everyone's suffering crap weather, sheesh.

i hear you on the yucky weather. i was in the middle of moving in yesterday, and it was, of course, raining and cold. ditto for today, when there's a football game, first one of the season.

*excuse me while i go find clothing that will keep me warm AND dry for the game*

in the meanwhile, i hope find lots of chocolate and have a great day :o)

Heh. Well, we have lovely chocolate here, so there's just a matter of me not being lazy and going out to get some ;)

Planning already, are you?

... Damn you, now I'm craving chocolate.

Planning early, and keeping an eye on bargains regarding what everyone wants... I'm trying to keep the costs down this year. I tallied up last year's reciepts after it was all said and done... and I'd spent about US$450 for Christmas presents for all my friends.

I would be more than happy to send you chocolate. Any requests? Do you like plain chocolate, or chocolate filled with fruity things? Dark or milk?

I know of a little place here with fantastic chocolate covered blackberries. That should cure whatever ails you...
