On Tuesday, Australia's federal parliament paused to honour Mr Irwin, whom Prime Minister John Howard said had died in"quintessentially Australian circumstances".
I shouldn't have laughed at that last bit, but... I did. Quintessentially Australian circumstances, I'll say.

I've seen the first couple of episodes that were burned to a dvd for my supervisor when the new Who first came out, but that's as far as I've gotten. The wank just scares me with its WTFery - on the outside looking in, it looks like there are some who are trying to make it wankier than the Harry Potter fandom.
I'm beginning to be glad that POTC just has an overabundance of Mary Sues, OOC Jack, Will, Elizabeth and Norrington, and just plain bad fic. If we've had serious wank, I'm blissfully unaware of it.
