Them grudges, them grudges and hello from work

There are a lot of grudges in fandom, aren't there? There are days I think poor newbies should get grudge-charts when coming into fandom so they can keep track of it and keep from walking into awkward situations. Then again, some of the people who've been around a while could probably use it too. I know I could. I get so confuuuuuused. Also, I have a horrid memory and a tendency to forget why I should hold grudges, only that I should. Bad brain.

I am at work filling in for someone who is sick, which feels a tid ironic, since I am rather blah myself. Also, this place has "Asset Management" in its title and my inner social democrat is all confused. It often does. I think it tends to forget on purpose how even social democracy get sneaky with capitalist ways these days, ohnoes.

This post has no particulary purpose except it is rather quiet right now just before I head home and I was bored. So yes. How was your day and how are your grudges doing today?

My day, thus far, has been rather quiet.

My grudge against my allergies is justified since I once again woke up twice in the night to take more medicine. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm looking forward to winter.

The funny thing is, I've held a grudge against two people in the fandom, because they have similar usernames and I have trouble remembering which one it was who was so mean to me.

I always fail badly at holding grudges. There's gotta be some part of the brain concerned with things like grudges, putting the bins out, fetching the washing out of the washer and other everyday things that I just forget all the time.
I tried blaming it on my memory for a while, then on drink, but apparently the consensus is that I'm just 'a silly ditzy blonde'. To which I replied that 'I dyed my hair, doesnt that cancel some of it out?', and Joel said 'Only a blonde would think dying her hair would make her smarter'. And I think that's enough of a tangent to have gone off on for now.

If someone makes one of those charts, I'll sign up for one too. I get really really confused normally and just end up talking about crackships with anyone silly enough to reply to me.

Seriously, life's too short. I'm not naive enough to imagine we should all be friends all the time, but live and let live, guys? Ah well, I'll just live in my little fantasy world. And I'll order a melon margarita while I'm here, okay? ;)

Margarita it is is, then. I think it's rather impossible for an online gathered of humans with their human brains not to have grudge and drama and hate, really. Not that this is an excuse to behave like a twat, but eh well, shit happens.

Had a very quiet day, spent the morning on the beach and then wrote a bit of my thesis. Can't complain, really.

As for grudges, I'm hopeless at keeping them. Anything even remotely connected to conflicts and arguments makes me go slithly panicky, so I cling to my 'live and let live' habits.

I see you posted this a couple hours ago, so I hope that in the meantime your blahness has disappeared or improved a bit at least.

Poor newbies would stumble upon landmines in the QaF fandom, too. I saved a few of them, but some of them had to find the grudges and cliques the hard way :D

I have lots of grudges and most of them on behalf of other people. It's kinda funny--I hate people who hurt my sister way more than I hate people who hurt me.

My day was a tad blah. Until Bozling's new car seat arrived, that is. We (Bozling and I) turned the box it came in into a mini-house for her, replete with cut out windows and peep-holes. Then we cracked open the poster paints and splodge paints in many colours all over it and a high time was had by all. Hurrah! :D

I'm seriously incapable of holding grudges long term - I think it's a personality defect or something. I'll be annoyed for a few minutes/days and then get over it. Although I do have a rather large level of annoyance for certain groups - think the Bush administration, homophobes and people who try to ban books.

My day was ok. I spent most of it asleep or semi-asleep, which is hugely better than yesterday. Yesterday, I spent throwing up, so insane sleepiness is a massive improvement.

No real grudges going at the moment, but I DO have a 15-yr-old unrequited love who's been much on my mind of late, for some odd reason. Does that count at all?

I never really cared enough about fandom to get grudges . . . most of my internet grudges are for bad shtuffs, like fo real, although I have a horrible memory, so I don't keep them long unless someone cuts someone off.

I'm all good. I have no grudges. Can't be bothered with them. I'm rarely around long enough to upset anyone and rarely respond to comments that clearly are bait. Besides it's way too much fun watching the fandoms explode with grudges.
