I contacted a professional organization for entomologists. A gentleman replied that he was sorry the show was taking such a turn [with Grissom dating a subordinate] because it didn’t reflect the personalities of the entomologists he knew. Do you care about how the professionals you portray feel about you?
Petersen: I’ve met many entomologists since the beginning of the show. I won an award at an entomology convention for upgrading the way people think of entomologists. Most, if not all, of the entomologists I’ve met enjoy relationships, sexual or otherwise. So this particular entomologist evidently doesn’t believe entomologists should have sex. If that’s the case, I feel bad for him and his bugs.

Do you still think Lady Heather is Grissom’s soul mate?
Petersen: I think she’s his spanking partner. Every now and then a guy needs a good spanking. Lady Heather could teach this country a lot. How to dress.
Fox: Definitely how to dress.

Some of the arguments against GSR just baffle me. Cripes, what's wrong with good old "I don't like it"? That is what it boils down to and is a completely fair objection to something. Tastes vary, after all. Instead, some downright ridiculus arguments have been constructed.

Oh well, at least TVGuide didn't ask one of the "GSR glorifies child abuse!!!!1" questions.

I'm sure you've already seen this but it bears repeating for the sole fact that it's one of the greatest meltdowns ever.

I am sooooooo over Billy Petersen and, of course over Gil Grissom the guy in the silly straw hat and aloha shirt. Cuteness isn't that becoming to a grandfather. Hewas so crude, so insolent and dishonest really, not to mention the verbal middle finger stuck up through the entire exchange. I couldn't believe, considering the size of my Billy crush that I found him so disgusting and how easily I got over him.

As y'all knowI'm no Sara/Jorja fan, but I thought what he said about kissing Sara, that the network would have to cough up more money and even more for tongue unbelievably bad. if the rumors about her sexual preference are true it or not it was a huge insult. No, I didn't misinterpret so don't bother to even try to clarify, "what he meant was," It was quite clear what he meant.

Then there were a couple of his justifications for past actions and public statements that were so circumspect — like where he was trying to say why he'd been so cold to Sara in the past — I wondered if he'd been drinking. Not even Bushie can get that mudddled off the top of his head. And dishonest. Three months ago Heather was his "soulmate" the one who came closest to his heart. Now she's been relegated to "spanking buddy, a guy needs a good spanking."
Who are you and what have you done with the real BIlly/Grissom? Or is this who you really are and I failed to notice? Yes, Billy and Grissom are two different people, one imaginary, neither of them particularly likeable anymore.

Although I don't care for Jorja, I have to give her credit. She was trying desperately to do her job — namely wh*ring the new Grissom and Sara show, which it's been for quite sometime if you read message boards and you do. Nobody talks about CSI anymore unless to discuss how it relates to G and S. And she seems to really believe in it. Of course she's got a career at stake — her one big chance.

In a nutshell: I could probably now watch CSI and not be at all disturbed by the alleged "romance" simply because of how bad Billy came off, and even how she came off in spite of her great effort to keep the interview from totally falling apart. Hawking a questionable product is never easy. I really wonder if he has a drinking problem, recalling the Bill Patrick interviews. Could anybody be that rude, crude and insolent without TIU (talking under the influence.

The only decent thing he did was not bad mouth Grey's Anatomy. For a moment at the end he sounded like the Billy I once new and respected saying they both casts good, doing their jobs and hoping to do their best. Once the man was capable of graciousness. Sad. I don't think his attitude was cute OR funny or "sassy" (that's a girlie term anyway, girlies).

The questioners, fans of the show, deserved better. they were asked by people who love the show, love him, though goddess knows why now IMO. There are no dumb questions anyway. Those who asked really wanted to know and took the trouble. They didn't deserve the F-you, if you don't like it , don't watch. If none of them had liked him he wouldn't be as rich and famous as he is now.

I needed something to get over the grief and loss I felt over the loss of CSI Classic. Can't believe that Billy and Jorja, well Billy, mostly, actually gave it to me. If I ever do accidentally catch the two of you in romantic activity, it'll be for laughs. Face it, Billy P. as one critic pointed out is no longer McDreamy, is no longer the superhottie he was in Kiss the Sky and Jorja never was. Thanks guys for doing such a great job of pointing it out. GA never looked better than it does right now.
