So, a little while ago I talked about gift exchanegs and what-not for Christmas. Yeah, I know it's early :P But I want it better organised than I did last year, dammit. That was a mess. And if I can send earlier, cheaper postage, huzzah.

If you'd like to exchange Christmas gifts OR cards therefore, comment below with your preference. If you want as a gift something from Norway specifically, you can also say so. Wishlists and blah can be set up later. I just want to see how many would want in and if I can actually do everyone.

Meanwhile, US and Venezuela sure are pissy with each other these days.

You really are early!

I'm always in for exchanging gifts, nothing better than a bit of fear of not finding something decent for the LJ people ^^

I have a Plan. Gonna get all the gifts together in October, ship in November. That way I can send it as non-air mail and save loads of money.

Hah, at least you don't have to see their expressions and the Painful Look of Faked Joy on there ;)

Cards, gifts, Norway stuff, anything. Whatever you'll send, I'll gladly receive. And I'll reciprocate, of course. I love exchanging gifts. :)

Well I'd be down with it, especially if it was something from Norway. I know American stuff isn't that cool, but my hometown has some pretty interesting things (hog capital of the world, supposedly), so if you'd like to trade, that can definitely be arranged.

(Or, alternatively, I can do something arty for you. Might as well make those years of college work for me, right? ;))

I'll make an even gift exchange with a model of your choice. Direct from the USA. (And I'll make sure he doesn't support our idiot of a leader!)

Sound fair?

:)

I'm always up for elf (elven?) looking guys in black leather too!

I love exchanging cards with my flist, so that sounds cool.

I'm also planning to get small typical gifts for my flist this year, but if I can't find anything (they don't sell Christmassy stuff until late November/December over here), I can always send a card.

I'd be in for a card or a gift, whichever one you're happy to do. :) I might actually be in Norway for Christmas (or New Year), so if I am, you can mail whatever to my dad's house in Bergen, which might save you a wee bit on postage! :D

Date: 2006-09-24 06:19 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] misscam.livejournal.com
Oooh, neat as.

Yeah, postage within Norway is a lot cheaper, so that's always handy. Card-wise it ain't that big a difference, but for packages and such, you can save a bit.

I'd be interested in exchanging Christmas cards, as long as you don't have too many other exchanges to go through. Something uniquely Norwegian would be fabulous, and I could try to send an extremely Canadian card in return. :)

Oh, we tend to decorate our cards with nisser, which is a Norwegian version of Santa Claus. It's a bit different and very, very Norwegian.
